The Lost Bear by Roxanne

People trudge, carelessly, across the stained panelled fair-ground floor – not attentive to what's beneath their feet. Toddlers and kids sprint around the fair, ride to ride – with their teddies in hand. This is how a little girl’s teddy, Rupert, was lost. She had been too focused on the new Air-Jet Super-Speed ride, and she had lost him in the process of buying tickets. Dirt and unhealthy food would pile, unevenly, on-top of his curled blonde fur, causing tangles and knots. His red ribbon of joy would quickly weather and fade away, leaving emptiness and sadness. Would his owner ever come back?

  1. Wow! A sad tale... unless his owner comes back! Will this future be changed? Very well written Roxanne!

  2. To Roxanne,
This is a great piece of writing. The way you have used punctuation throughout your story makes it read so very nicely. You have used powerful imagery that paints a picture in the readers mind. Love the way you have ended with a question.
    Keep up the great writing.
