Harley - because I said so

Today was the day my mum said no, I woke up this morning expecting I would be able to buy everything (like usual) so I approached my mum asking for expensive items that I wanted and my mum looked at me and screamed, “NO!” My mum went on to say, “I have had enough, you’ve bought too much, you can’t buy anything ever!”
I felt like nothing could be done anymore and I asked, “What did I do?”
She responded with, “You have done nothing, but you just can’t be spending that type of money.”
I mumbled quietly, “I’m sorry.”

Bradley- Because I said so

My name is Joe, and I live in a lovely little flat next to the beach. Yesterday I was feeling quite good until my mum (the only person I live with) calmly mentioned to me, “You do know that you need to get a job eventually, right?”
“No, why?” I asked.
“Because I said so!” she replied. At that moment I stormed out onto the beach to admire the nature, calm down and have some thinking time on where I could possibly get a job. Upon the horizon there it sat (the RNLI boat) now that is an idea... Perfect!

Tom A - because I said so

"Why should I go in first?" moaned Derick, looking through the window of the dark, murky house they had found.
"Because I said so, now GO!" whispered Billy, frustrated, "And besides, it's the only shelter for miles around."
Derick sighed and opened the door. It slowly creaked open to reveal a gloomy room with a staircase that led to a grey door. They began to search for supplies but all they found were canned sweetcorn and a half empty beer can. Derick tried lighting a fire but had no success. They knew it was going to be a rough night...

Aaliyah - because I said so

“I'm going first!” said Amy with a determined look on her face.
"Why?” asked Chantelle, as an innocent look filled her face.
"Because I said so and I'm oldest!" replied Amy as she glared rudely.
‘Boom!’ as Amy entered the old strange caverns, a man who was covered in smoke ran out screaming, “It's all collapsing!” All his workmates ran coughing and choking with all the dust. The two girls grabbed their bags and fled from the area and never went near a cave again. That night when they fell asleep they had nightmares of them falling to their death in the caves.

Taylor - because I said so

Georgina is very bossy. She makes people do mean things like punching everyone. When she tells people what to do, people try to stand up to her and say, “Do we have to do that?”
She says, “You do because I said so.
Yesterday she shouted at the teacher but she didn’t get in trouble because everyone is scared of her. Her friends, Jasmine and Michel, always hang around with her because they are scared of her to. She has a gang called, The Comics and all the people in that are scared of her and, she still does it to this day.

Madison - because I said so

“Why?” asked Rebecca. She was always asking the same question over and over again and again, “Because I said so,” replied Mum. That was always the answer to every single question asked by Rebecca towards her bossy, lazy Mum.
“I never get a day off!” exclaimed the tired girl, she was always doing everything and never got to rest until 10.00. (That’s when she had got to go to bed!) It was enough; Rebecca decided to go and get a career as she wouldn't want to do this all her life so that's what she did, she was finally free...

Kaitlin - because I said so

It is Sunday afternoon and we were planning on going out but then it started hailing and raining so we had to stay at home and do jobs. So, mum made us all job lists to complete by the end of the day. Mine said; make bed, tidy room, clean desk, wash both cars, hoover house, clean mirrors, wash pots, iron clothes, wash clothes and fold clothes.
“Why do I have to do all of this?” I moaned.
Because I said so!” Mum yelled.
Off I went to do the huge list of jobs.
3 hours later.
Finally, I have done.

Faith P - because I said so

Only five minutes left on the last day of the school term, everyone was getting ready to go home when our teacher handed out a sheet of paper, it was homework to do over the holidays.
 Everybody moaned, “No not homework!”
“Do we have to do homework?” Faith said.
Yes, you do, if its not done you will be in big trouble and miss your break times until it’s completed!” the teacher replied.
Everyone put it in their bags while the teacher was watching.
Why do we have to do homework?” said Arthur.
The teacher replied, “Because I said so!”

Emerson - Because I said so

“What was that?” I couldn't move, couldn't breathe. I was frozen to the spot like a statue. My heart began pounding ... duh-duh, duh-duh. A shiver crept down my spine and the hairs on the back of my neck stood to attention.
“Is it just my imagination playing tricks on me or is something there?”
Stepping forward tentatively, like a lion stalking its prey, I exclaimed, “If anyone is here, show yourself now!”
A voice whispered so only I could hear it, “Why should I?”
I replied with, “Because I said so and if you don't, trouble lies ahead!”

Roxanne - Because I said so

Stacie’s hands were quivering above the black shadowy globe, which she had just found and was discovering until...  a mysterious voice crept upon her ears, drawing her towards the globe’s misty atmosphere.
‘’Stacieeeee.’’ Whispered an unknown voice...
‘’Who’s there?" she yelled, as she jumped out of her seat – almost knocking her coffee mug over.

The voice spoke again, but louder, clearer‘’Listen to me!’’ demanded the voice.
Stacie knew something was going on... maybe some dark magic...
‘’Why should I? she boasted in a reaction of fear and defence.
‘’...Because I said so.... the world’s in your hands.... DON’T disappoint it...’’

Michael - Because I said so

“Are you sure I won’t get caught?” asked David all frightened and nervous.
I nodded.
David didn’t want to do this but he had to in order to be rich! We were on a bank heist to steal the crown jewels. It was extremely risky as there were about 15-20 guards patrolling around the area. I had an idea to go down in the gross sewers but it might work. David didn’t want to go down so he questioned, “Why did we have to do this?”
I replied, “Because I said so!”
We were just a few steps from stealing the jewels!

Lilly-Ella - Because I said so

“You're so, so annoying!” says Sally to her Mum. “Why can’t I go out with my friend Zia?”
“Because you're too young.” Sally’s mum replies.
“No, I’m not! Why can’t I go out with Zia?”
“Because I said so! Please stop asking Sally my answer will not change.” Sally’s mum also says. “I don’t want anything to happen to you.”
“Ok, well I suppose when I’m old enough I can go out with Zia and besides all of that she can just come around to our house at some point.” Sally says in a sweet voice.
