The Bike by Elizabeth

Dear Diary,
Today, I decided that I was going to go for a walk through the woods. I set off to the woods. I got to the middle of the woods and it started to get cold but I wanted to walk a little bit more. Suddenly, out of nowhere there was a tiny little bike in a tree and I was very confused about how it got there? Who put it there? Why is it small? I was thinking that it was a toy but I did not feel safe touching it so I turned around and went back home.

The weird bike by Colby

One evening, I went for a nice walk and the sun was shining brightly. After getting my shoes on I went out of the door to the park. When I got to the park I saw an orange bike on a tree facing an old rotten bench. Two minutes later, a girl ran past the orange bike and said, “I don’t want this ugly thing.”
After that the owners of the bike turned up and they said, “What are you doing near my bike?”
I replied, “I was making sure that no one stole it.”
After I went home and had a cup of tea.

As you walk through the forest you can tell there has been a disaster, but the main thing that stood out over everything else was a gold rusty bike still in perfect shape but positioned high up, straight through the middle of an old oak tree.
How did it get there I wonder? It’s not even possible for a bike to get that high. You wouldn’t normally expect to see this on a daily basis walking through the woods. If you saw this what would you do?
I would take a cool picture and show it to all my friends.

Dear Diary,
Today, was the day when a swarm of animals put my bike in a tree!
I woke up this morning wanting to have a good bike ride round the oak forest and then this happened. I was riding my bike as usual until a swarm of animals came running at me, that was when the disaster happened. I rapidly raced away from them and as I turned around they had my bike stuck in a tree. (I had to run away because there were: lions, tigers, bears, and even snakes.) That was my day of disaster.

The Tree by Bradley

Dear diary,
Today, I had a bike ride through the woods with my big cousin and my little brother who is four and we had a smashing time until this happened...
During our ride, my bike was a little faulty and was definitely going to break at some point but it did something far, far weirder! We were just passing the creepy part of the woods where all the strange things tend to happen when my steering got a bit off and I started to go off track. Suddenly, I was heading towards a tree (that's how my story begins)...

The Bike Tree by Taylor

A bike in a tree?
I saw a bike stuck in a tree, how did it get there?
That bike was caught in a tornado and went into a hole in a tree and the tree grew around it. How did it get in the hole? It must have been a direct shot. The tree is brown and has a load of branches. The branches are tangled in other trees. The trees are at an angle so they lean into bushes which have animals in. People need to stop leaving their stuff out or it will get stuck in trees.

The bike by Jessica

Walking home from school, my friend and I decided to go a different way home. As we turned the corner my friend stopped and said, “That looks like a bike stuck in the tree.” We could see the bike was very rusty and had been there for a long while, and we both said, “I wonder where the rider is?”
We looked around the tree under the leaves and debris. Fortunately, we didn't find anything else. Clearly there was nothing that we could do other than take a photo to show our mums and head home.

I was walking past the forest and found an old rusty bike in a tree. Yes, in a tree and it looks very bizarre, unfamiliar and very unordinary. Nobody just walks past a forest near their house and ends up finding a bike halfway through a tree do they - or is it just me? You know when you think about how it got there in the first place, your brain is just all out of ideas where it could have come from. Like the normal person that I am (not), I just go and walk past it.

The Bike by Mason

You are probably wondering why a bike is stuck in a tree.
It all started with my uncle, who was a happy chap and loved biking. When I was young, he went biking with a friend in the most dangerous forest ever. He wanted to do a trick near a tree but the tree wasn't fully grown so when he tried to do it his bike got caught in the tree and he fell off the cliff edge. The tree is fully grown now and that’s why a bike is in a tree. But I still miss my favourite uncle.

The bike by Julia

Above the lofty, stretched out trees, there was one different tree out of all of them. Mysteriously, it had an old, rusty bike stuck in the middle of it. There must have been an accident lately. All of the trees faced its way like they were making fun of it.
Last night, screams were heard coming from inside of the deadly forest. I told my friends and they told me, but only one of them did not answer. “Hello? Is anybody there?” There was no reply. Someone answered and the phone just stayed silent. Was my friend in that disaster?

I was just walking along one day, when I came across this tree with an old bike merged halfway in its magnificently massive trunk, an oak tree it was, radiating in its mystery I reported it to the W.H.D. (Weird Happenings Department) the place where the supernatural occurs - like zombies attacking pixies. Yes, I know this all sounds like a daydream but it's real. My name is Detective Zom, a world class supernatural detective. When houses go missing in the middle of the night who do you call? Me. With professional gadgets I sniff out the disturbance in time.

In the deepest, darkest and most magical part of the enchanted woods (which homes magical creatures). Everything was normal, all the leaves were a bright dazzling green and the sky-scraping, sizable oak trees had pure irradiant, glutinous sap dripping slowly out. Except for one! In the centre of the forest there is an altitudinous tree which has a rusty, old, broken bike going through the middle of it. The bike was only a little bit wider than the tree (which was extremely bumpy and rough). You could only see the front end of the bike and the back wheel.

BIKE TREE! by Madi

Skies were blue, trees were calm, when all of a sudden, I found a bike in a tree! It looked a bit like a monument at first, but the wheels were rusty and the bell was apart from the bike. It was a child's bike, but why was it in a tree? It was very puzzling because it was always sat there and I would have thought it would have fallen, I guess not! I bet scientists will know the behind the scenes of what I now call the BIKE TREE! One important question, how long had it been there?

The Bike by Faith P

My family and I was staying at our weekend holiday home, it was a sunny day so my dad and I went off on our bikes through the woods seeing lots of wonderful things, I was leading when something all of a sudden caught my eye.
‘Stop! Stop!’ I shouted
We saw a bike growing in a tree! What a strange sight! After looking for a few minutes, I started thinking about that bike, why was it there, who owned it?
At home I started to research and found a number of stories, but which is true? Still a mystery.

The bike by Ellie

It seemed days later, the war had ended, because the trees had fallen down, unexploded bomb shells lay on the ground. There was an old, rusty bike stuck in a tree trunk, it seemed like it had been there for decades because a tree had grown around it. It looked like it had been owned by a younger child (4 years old) as it was quite small. Later on, an older man (aged 65-67) came hobbling through the forest and noticed the bike, trying to yank it, he shouted, AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGG!!" He failed epically. He was left wondering why it was stuck there?

The Bike by George

Goodness! There’s been a bit of a disaster in the woods from the looks of it! There was a rusty bike stuck in a gnarled tree. I trotted over to it hesitantly. My eyes were drawn to a multitude of ultra-marine pixies. They flew in my face like a herd of furious bulls stampeding. I whacked them away but then began to feel remorseful for clouting them in case they were endangered. An old man (who was wearing a black cape) did some sort of spell on me. In the blink of an eye I was also stuck in the tree!

Lucky me by Scarlet

It was a frosty winter morning, I was riding my bike through the forest when suddenly I heard a noise. I had no idea what it was. Nobody ever came in here because of all the animals but I have made friends with them, I wondered if it was a baby who was scared but then I heard someone say, “Do it then.” Out of nowhere a man jumped out from a nearby bush and pushed my bike into a tree! I just managed to get off it before I got hurt. Lucky me!!!

The Roller by Lilly-Ella

“What is that strange thing stuck in the tree trunk?” I ask myself whilst running towards it. “I’ve never seen one of those before!”
It is brown with very thick circular things and around the top near the middle there also seems to be a triangular squishy thing.
Was I meant to try to sit on it? I had no idea. I wonder what it is? I wonder what it is called? I wonder if it even has a name? I had so many questions and no answers!
I know that I would call it the Roller.

The Experiment by Joshua

One day John was riding his bike in the woods, he was in the middle of doing his experiment on how to travel through walls and trees. John was hurtling towards a large tree when he lost control, before he crashed John was grabbed and the bike got stuck in the tree and the experiment failed. It turns out that John was abducted by some deadly African hunters because they planned to take over his business, which was the best scientific business in all the World. They didn’t realise that the experiment failed and it was a waste of time.

The Bike by Tom A

It happened last week. I was riding my rusty, old bike in the forest when I heard a rustle behind me. I thought I was imagining things, but that then a howl echoed through the thick layers of leaves. Then there was a pounding noise. I looked behind me to see what it was and saw a pack of wolves. I was absolutely terrified.  I wasn't looking where I was going, I came off the trail and hit a tree. In the crash I broke almost every bone in my body and my poor bike got lodged in a tree.

Eleanor - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty

Fluffy white clouds hung in the endless blue sky while birds sang as they passed. A lady walked by the zoo, she had white blonde hair and electric blue eyes. Suddenly she heard a noise, and through the wall crashed a hairy gorilla! Bricks flew in every direction, she screamed and started running, but the gorilla caught her! She tried to escape but ripped the sleeve of her yellow polka dot jumper. The ape ran away never to be seen again. As for the lady she was pretty careful around the zoo, watching for crazy monkeys while she passed it.

The beast was running wild into the city. How did it escape? Oh yeah, it is a gorilla, I knew we had to reinforce the walls but no the boss told me not to. It was almost like he wanted the gorilla to escape like last time with the panda, this is just getting suspicious.
“Oh no the gorilla is running after the pretty lady over there with the yellow dress on, go sort it out!” I called to a security man.
“Hey, you fix the wall with the cement and bricks,” I said to one of the builder men.

Samuel - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty

A lady I know is very … strange, she always gives me a look and I always feel uncomfortable. She lives in a house made of wood and everybody else’s are made of bricks. Other men think that she’s very pretty but I'm different. I once went to her house and the whole house on the inside was yellow. Ever since I’d known her, she would always speed walk, like she’s running away from something. I asked if I could come over for a coffee in the morning and she said, “I’m sorry but no there’s a gorilla in my house!”

Lilly-Ella - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty

I was walking to the park yesterday, when I came across a gorilla. It wasn’t just any old gorilla it was yellow and I can’t believe I am saying this but it was actually pretty (it even twinkled in the sunlight). Obviously, I ran away because when a gorilla comes out of nowhere, I can’t be good. Whilst I was running, I ran into some hard bricks. I thought could this day get any worse? I was wrong!!! But I’m not going to go into that because it would take us into a whole new story.

So, this morning I was told that we were going to move to a different house, one with yellow bricks, and I will have a pretty room. This house sounds amazing!
The next day, before we moved, we went to the zoo and we saw a very cute gorilla eating its fruit. My brother kept on wanting to go to the tigers so he went off running to them even though mum had said in a minute, and he got in big trouble.
Finally, we arrived at the house and I ran to pick one of the rooms and sleep in it.

George - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty

Have you ever seen a yellow gorilla? Well that is the thing running after me right now. It has a pretty face but its muscles are as hard as bricks. I swiftly run through the deserted village and climb up a tall pine tree. Its trunk gets thinner every time I go up to a higher branch. The one I’m standing on suddenly snaps. I begin to yell. The muscular gorilla catches me and places me on the ground. He curiously stares at me for a while and then runs off. He spins around and smiles retreating into the foliage.

I know most of you have most definitely mentioned that you have had a surprisingly weird encounter such as an oddly shaped fruit or something but today I came across a bright yellow gorilla (that looked kind of pretty) crashing through bricks at a calm running kind of pace!
Let me tell you more about it. Well, I was walking to work as I normally do on a Wednesday morning, when I noticed a building crew putting up some new walls or something outside of the Cambridge University. Then I noticed an unusual sighting - the yellow gorilla destroying everything...

Today its zoo time - got to see the new gorilla enclosure. I hope they like it, it’s made out of bricks so they don't escape or break some of it but there’s glass so people can see them playing and having a laugh. It might not be done though. There's one gorilla called Pretty who's very popular; everybody likes to be near her.
The enclosure is finished - it looks great. I can see Jeff running up and down in excitement at seeing his new home. Soon people will be able to visit them, I see a boy waiting with a yellow shirt.

Jessica - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty

My cousin has a toy box filled with her old yellow bricks. We decided to build a pretty tower with them. We both got bored after a while so I lay on the sofa and read a book while she went outside to play.
Twenty minutes later, she came running back inside like a hurricane, “I just saw a gorilla!"
I started laughing.
"Tt's in the bush munching on the leaves."
“Gorillas only live in zoos and the wild not in bushes in people's gardens.”
"I'm being honest there was a gorilla."
"Or was it your immense imagination?"

It was the grand opening of the new zoo coming out in Birmingham. I travelled across Britain just to see this new zoo because they had my most favourite pet, a gorilla! They were my favourite! I know they had big white teeth and they look all pretty so I still like them. I dressed up in yellow as I would draw more attention to gorillas just because they love bananas. Finally, the doors swung open and I sprinted away. I entered the gorilla exhibit and it was surrounded by bricks. I saw them running towards me then suddenly, boom!

Julia - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty

Here I am again, building a wall with lots of bricks. I’m here building it with my best friend, Granny Smith. This is torture! All I wish for in my life is a bright yellow top, not building a wall! Well, at least I am here with my friend, not my foe.
After we finished building the horror, something destroyed the brick wall. It was worse than horror, worse than torture. A, gorilla?!
Right after the incident, Granny Smith told me how fast she was running. All I saw was her trembling on the stones. But, anyway, the gorilla was wearing MY pretty top. How, fascinating???

Tom A - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty

"HELP!" yelled the woman. “I NEED HELP!”
She was being chased by a giant gorilla that broke out of London Zoo. It burst through a wall and made bricks fly everywhere. She ran past a man who said, “Hey, lady, I'll help you. I mean, you're pretty."
The lady blushed a little, “Why, thank you," she said.
"Yeah, pretty UGLY! Hahaha!" he exclaimed before running away.
Then, the gorilla picked her up and threw her. It had turned yellow in rage and killed her. Then the man came back and had a fight with the gorilla. But, the gorilla won...

Ellie - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty

Once there lived a gorilla, which was running around the town like crazy. It was a mystery because nobody knew where he had come from. One day, he was in somebodies house which was made of bricks. The bricks were a sandy yellow. The bricks were flying. Left, right, forward, back. It was an older ladies house, she was wearing a pretty top. Unfortunately, her top got destroyed by the crazy gorilla. The lady had pure white hair and square glasses. The gorilla had red devil eyes and pure black fur, also sharp claws. The gorilla also had very sharp gnashers.

Roxanne - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty

As I was colouring in my newly-drawn picture, I had an image in my head – it was quite unusual for a ‘pretty’ girl my age to be thinking about, but...oh well...
My thought was of an old woman, wearing a yellow sweater, who owned the dullest blue eyes. It was just a normal day – of which she would think.
As the hours would go by, something ‘wild’ would happen....
A running gorilla would come towards her house of bricks and-
No, no, scrap that paper work - my dear writer - Pier! It’s no good for a story.
Too.... unusual...

I was sat in my favourite chair reading a book about wild animals when all of a sudden I heard a loud terrifying shrieking scream coming from the television, I looked up from my book immediately to see on the TV screen a woman dressed in a pretty yellow and white polka dot dress running away in a panic from a large fierce gorilla who was knocking down a wall with bricks flying everywhere.
As I watched I shouted, “I’m reading a book on wild animals and this happens, they really should be kept in the wild.”

Madi - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty,

Yellow bricks crashed to the ground as a dark coloured, angry gorilla slammed into the old lady's house ferociously, tearing it to nothing more than a pile of trash! The terrified woman ran for her life as she was so scared because she was just relaxing and the colossal attack terrified her. She didn’t know what to do as she didn’t have a house anymore. It was very pretty too! She was incredibly quick even though she was 93. Running like lightning, she turned around and the huge, black gorilla was just seconds behind her. What a poor old lady...

Joshua - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty

On a bright summer's day, the yellow sun shone and the pretty flowers gleamed in the sunlight. Adebowale, which means ’return of the crown’, was stranded in a tropical forest in Africa. He had been travelling to Dubai when the plane encountered heavy turbulence and lost control. Adebowale was hunting for food until suddenly he heard a crunch of sticks behind him. When he looked, he saw a colossal jet-black gorilla sluggishly creeping up on him about to strike. Having seen a shelter made of bricks on the way he swiftly started running as quick as a flash towards it.

Mason - Weird!

One day I saw a gorilla on the loose in town and it was running away from the police on the pretty yellow road. It ran into a brick building and tore it to pieces like King Kong and started to climb to the top of a massive tower. The gorilla started to throw bricks from the tower at the citizens of the town. The army started to fire their guns at it but it would not die. Then it got really tired and collapsed on the ground and never woke up or did it wake up who knows?

Kaitlin - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty

An old lady (who is wearing a pretty bright yellow spotty dress) went to the zoo to see the new gorilla, because it is her favourite animal. But when she got there the gorilla was not there, it must have ESCAPED! Suddenly, she heard a screeching scream coming towards her! What was it she wondered? Then she saw the gorilla charging towards her, then the gorilla smashed through a humongous wall of bricks. She was running as quick as she could to get out of the way of that furious beast. But wherever she went the gorilla just followed her!

Aaliyah - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty

As the yellow gorilla broke the bricks of the structure it was climbing the pretty woman shouted HELP! Running swiftly the army, and military backup shot raging gunfire at the hideous creature. Air reinforcements shouted CHARGE as they rapidly jumped out of helicopters one by one. Boom! Suddenly the hideous beast fell to its doom dropping the beautiful girl ( who was caught by one of the parachuting air reinforcements) never again did she go to that city, because she was almost killed when all she wanted to do was go shopping at Primark.

Jessica - …I wondered what was behind the door…

On the night of Friday the thirteenth, weird things started to happen. As the day came to an end, I started to get ready for bed. At half eight, I crawled into bed and fell asleep. The hand on the old clock struck three - the witching hour - I shot up in bed as I heard a loud, “BANG!” I thought it was just my bedroom door but it wasn’t. I cautiously got out of bed, it sounded like it was coming from the attic. I wondered what was behind the door. I slowly opened the door and screamed, “HELP ME!”

Tom A - …I wondered what was behind the door…

I stumbled through the gloomy corridor, hoping to lose my pursuers. I tried knocking down desks and lamps to stop them, but still they came. I turned a sharp corner, what a mistake! I was going to die, there was nowhere to run. Then, all of a sudden, a door came into view. I turned to see my pursuers still following. I flung open the door then barricaded it shut. Taking deep breaths, I saw another door at the far end of the room. I approached with caution. I wondered what was behind the door as I turned the knob...

Samuel - …I wondered what was behind the door…

I moved into a new house and there was a blocked off door. At first, I thought it wasn’t important but I was wrong. At night I heard weird noises coming from it so I checked it out. As I went closer to it, I wondered what was behind the door... The door was on the right of the hallway to the stairs and I had a terrible feeling about it. When I broke the door down, I opened it cautiously... it was not a pleasant sight. It was a dead body with a saw in the dead body!

Julia -…I wondered what was behind the door…

Whilst the wind whistled fiercely, I grabbed my torch, hoping nothing would attack me. I turned around, acting like a coward, but nothing was there. Only my wardrobe. Could the creaking noise be from there? It couldn’t be. I looked out of the window, my torch reflecting off it, and saw trees dancing insanely like mad men in an asylum.
The door had opened a few inches. I fell to the ground, looked at the door and jumped into my bed. Footsteps were heard from outside my door. I listened carefully and looked once more. I wondered what was behind the door. It crawled inside...

Kaitlin - …I wondered what was behind the door…

I was all alone; mum and dad had nipped out for five minutes. Then I heard someone knock on the door, I thought it was mum and dad. I opened the door and... no one was there! So where was the noise coming from? Someone must be in the house with me! I started to get scared I wondered to myself, who is in the house with me? I went around looking in every room and behind every door. Every time I opened a door, I wondered what was behind the door but nothing was there. Was it my imagination?

Lilly-Ella - …I wondered what was behind the door…

One random day, just the same as any other I was walking happily to the park when suddenly a beautiful door appeared it had gold lines with lots of pink dots. I wondered what was behind the door? Why was it there and where did it come from? I was about turn the door handle when I suddenly thought maybe this isn’t a good idea. Maybe something bad will happen. When I got home, I could not get the door off my mind. So, I went back the very next day, but the door had disappeared...

Ellie - …I wondered what was behind the door…

One day, I was eating my tea and doing my homework. There was a fly in the kitchen, really annoyingly it kept buzzing around me. I managed to catch with a big tub and some paper and took it outside. I let it fly away, but as I entered the kitchen it all seemed different, there was a multicoloured door there instead of the white door. I wondered what was behind the door as I nervously I entered the kitchen. It had changed completely. “WOW,” I said. The walls had changed to a pale blue colour, the kitchen cupboards changed to a pale pink and everything else changed to a pale green. My Nan knocked......

Eleanor -…I wondered what was behind the door…

I walked down the overgrown path, tripping over a loose stone in the darkness. The old house was grey with broken bricks and ugly stone gargoyles. As I pushed open the heavy stone door I heard a deep voice say, "When the clock strikes 12...beware!". Something slithered down my spine and I froze. The clock turned 12.

I ran on but kept finding my way back to the same door, the wind was whistling outside. I wondered what was behind the door. Suddenly it opened and I was dragged inside, It had caught me.

I never saw daylight again...

Roxanne - …I wondered what was behind the door…

Dear Diary,
A while after I heard the voice, I was transported to this room.
I have no Idea where I am – all I can see is a pitch black surrounding myself.
As I get up, I begin to walk forwards – although still no idea where...

I’ve made progress in my mission to find a way out of this room,
A little while ago I found this door – it was sealed tight with no way inside....
Knowing that I’ve found a door, leads me to progress further to get my way out.
(...But I wondered what was behind the door...)

Faith P - …I wondered what was behind the door…

I was trying to sleep when I heard a noise downstairs like a door shutting, at this point I woke up fully, I didn’t know what to do. I went into my parents room to see if anything had fallen but it hadn’t. I heard the noise again so I decided to be brave and went to investigate, it was coming from downstairs. I crept down and walked quietly towards the kitchen, I wondered what was behind the door? The next thing my bedside alarm clock was ringing and I realised it was morning, it was all a bad dream!

Fatima - I wondered what was behind the door.

There it was. I can’t believe it. The last place until my journey was completed. Well this journey; who know how many exciting adventures  I will do in the future. This place is where the map has led me to, it’s a ….............. door? I thought it would be a portal or something but no just a boring old door. I wondered what was behind the door. Let’s find out!
I have just stepped in to a whole new world. I have never seen anything like this, only I can experience this once in a lifetime opportunity I cannot wait!
