Hard Beautiful Brown Worried Camera by Kirsten

I picked up my camera; ready to take a picture when a brown thing came flying through the air and hit me on the head. It was hard. I fell, unconscious.

I woke up in a uncomfortable hospital bed, a nurse sat next to me telling me everything. I was worried. What would my family think? I had been in a coma apparently. She also said I was very poorly: not telling me everything in detail. I asked for a mirror so I could do my hair. She gave me one and there was a huge bump on my head. I was beautiful no longer...

...But how could something so tiny... by Kirsten

I stabbed my silver fork into it, my mind whirling round with different ways this could end. I could think it tastes really delicious, think it tastes horrible, it could poison me? I tried not to think about what could happen. My hand wobbled as I put the miniscule, gnat size canapé into my mouth. I nearly fainted. It tasted... delicious. I was amazed. But how could something so tiny taste so good? I was speechless. I just wished they were bigger. The cream cheese and salmon and dill taste so nice on a little rice bread cracker. How amazing!

…so that is why I am always last…by Kirsten

I ran down the track. My back ached, my chest was tight and my legs hurt and were tired. I was last. I sprinted that little bit fast, but I was still last. Again! I kept trying and trying; but each time I tried again I seemed to get slower. Not a lot slower, only just that it is noticeable.
One of the times I was racing, my teacher timed me. It took me 10 minutes to do 200 metres. It then came to me. I am really, really slow. So that is why I'm always last when we race!

The tree by Kirsten

The ground shook, the sky wavered. What was happening? I staggered around, trying to find something stable enough to hold onto. I went to grab hold of a tree when it was brought to my attention that the tree wasn't shaking, it was moving. The tree was sporadically moving upwards; every minute or so. Then suddenly colossal, grey, rock like things emerged from the ground. They kept rising and rising. A minute or so later they had stopped rising and the ground had finally stopped shaking. I looked closely at the thing. It was a hand holding up the tree!

However Yellow Gingerly Discovered Remarkable by Kirsten

Gingerly moving round the dark caverns, I turned on my headlight to see into the darkness. I looked around to see nothing but darkness and rocks. However, what I thought was a rock was something very far from it...
I moved on forward; hoping to get out of the mess I had gotten myself into. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a glinting yellow light. I turned around and followed it. I finally got to the beginning of the light to find a remarkable discovery. I had discovered a yellow backed lizard. I was so happy that I had found something!

Laughter by Kirsten

Laughter? It's something I've never quite understood. People do it when they hear a funny joke, see a cringey picture of themselves or even when they get embarrassed in some people's cases! I've only ever done it once or twice, some people even say I'm weird! I just think I'm special that's all, special in a unique way.

The only time I can remember laughing is when I saw a picture of myself when I was a baby. I had spaghetti Bolognese round my mouth and all over me. I've tried everything to make me laugh. It just doesn't work...!

...the noise was SO loud... by Kirsten

The noise was SO loud! It was so loud that I couldn't get to sleep, and that's something! I slept through a 6.8 magnitude earthquake and I slept through the music at a Glastonbury festival. That's just some of them! That's how much of a heavy sleeper I am. The only thing was, I couldn't work out what the noise was. It was definitely coming from next door. I decided to get dressed and go and see what was going on. The funny thing is they are not home. I wonder where that noise came from and what it was!

Kirsten

This story is about how the world has evolved over the years. At first the spheroid earth was just lush water and boats sailed around like nobody's business. Then the land came and ships had to be careful about where they went so they weren't shipwrecked. Then a big flood came from God to get rid of all the bad. The ships ruled once again and took over. Over time the land took over again and all the ships slowly got shipwrecked and were abandoned. That's why all the forests, towns and cities you visit are full of shipwrecked boats!

…steel, carrots, tearful, under, mauve …by Kirsten

I felt tearful as I hid under my bed sheets. My mauve eye shadow rushed down my cheeks as tears splurged down my cheeks. I felt so upset. I thought I was as strong as steel and nothing could bring me down, but obviously I was wrong. We should have been like two peas in a pod, two carrots in the ground, but it just didn't turn out like that. My life wasn't ruined, my friendships were finished. I didn't have any friends, or self-confidence. What was I going to do? My mind was blank, my thoughts gone. I was lost...

… as the weather changed..., by Kirsten

I was happily typing up my homework on my new laptop when I heard a loud bang. It sounded like it was coming from outside so I looked out of the window to see if I could see anything, but I couldn't. I could only see a few people walking. It must have been someone gardening, so I decided to keep on typing. Then the bang came back and the sky turned grey. The people were still walking by and as the weather changed, they ran and sheltered under a tree. The sky was now bright blue! That was strange!

However Yellow Gingerly Discovered Remarkable - by Kirsten

I was walking very gingerly towards the cave. I was on a remarkable expedition to find a rare yellow spotted snail. It was said to be only found in this exact cave. I was a snail expert- well, in the making- so I decided I would try and find it. I thought this would be easy as the cave looks tiny from the outside, however, when you get inside it is very different! It's huge! Not many people have discovered the yellow spotted snail, definitely at my age. Lets hope I find one, hello famous Louisa! Give me good luck!

The End by Kirsten

This is the end. I hate casserole, well who doesn't, with the spicy sauce and the gooey sausages. Errh! It makes me shiver to think about it. Well I come walking through the front door of my house, all happy and jolly as I had just won a bottle of wine in a raffle when I smell sausage casserole. See if this smell had been pizza I would have been so happy but is wasn't pizza so I was so unhappy. The worst thing was I had to eat it! How mean was that! Well, I would be there for a long time!

To be continued...

Violin, Eaten, Yellow, Airplane, Swept by Kirsten

I had just eaten a yellow apple whilst waiting to board my plane. My bag was at my feet so I got my violin out of it and began to play. I played till my hand ached then put it away, then a round of applause came. My airplane was ready. I made my way to the gate and then walked down the steps to get to the ground. I walked past the spinning engines and got swept off my feet. The baggage trolley broke my fall as I fell onto it but unfortunately broke my leg. My holiday will have to wait!

The bench by Kirsten

The man sat there reading, the man next to him sat as still as a statue. People behind the old wooden bench were sniggering as the man reading spoke to the statue, obviously he did not realise he was a bronze statue. The faces each one is pulling shows how much they are concentrating, the man reading concentrating greatly whilst the other looks like he is staring at something he finds peculiar. The man reading could be waiting for a bus to take him somewhere for a vacation as he has a suitcase with him.

…I put my hand in the box and felt…, by Kirsten

'Raffle ticket number 095' called out Mrs. Dales.
That was me! I went up to get my card out of the box to see what my prize was. I put my hand in the box and felt something hard in places but soft and squidgy. I pulled it out to find it was a piece of paper with a ball stuck to it.

 'This is a magic ball.
Say the magic word, wish what you want then it will come true. WARNING: This ball may not work as it is just for fun. Please do not believe it.'

Well I bet you can guess what I wished for something I want. Well did it happen...

…but the spot just grew and grew…, by Kirsten

I love PE! PE is a fun lesson. I could not wait until Thursday to do PE!

1 day later...
Yippee! It's Thursday! Today we are doing gym in PE. I LOVE GYM! First we had to get all the stuff out. We then had to get a spot and stand on it. I got a neon yellow one. I stood on it but the spot just grew and grew. How strange! After this we had to cartwheel to another spot. I did this and the spot did the same as the one I got. I the realised, it was my shoes...

Lie Row Fly Chips Sweet by Kirsten

I was swimming for an hour non-stop so I decided to have a lie down on my sunbed. Ah! So relaxing! The view from where I was laid is amazing. People having a row and people making sticky sweets. The squawking seagulls getting ready to fly. I am now ready to have a snack. Chips or a chicken burger? I’ll go with the chips option “Waiter! Waiter! Can I have some chips please?”
“Yes certainly madam! I’ll get them straight away!” With that he was gone!
After a few minutes he came back! They were delicious! Lovely and fluffy!

…when the connection broke…, Kirsten

Yesterday I made a gigantic loom band skipping rope. It took me six hours to make and I did it in rainbow colour order and dark to light in all those colours. I was skipping with it once I had finished it. Jump! Jump! I got to my record of skips (561!) when Henry my dog came outside. He started biting my skipping rope!
"Stop it Henry! Bad boy! Go away!"
All he replied with with was, "Yap, yap! Woof, woof!"
He still wouldn't go. Then he walked away so I started skipping again. It broke from Henry chewing it. When the connection broke I got very sad!

Statues by Kirsten

These three men are chatting. My guess is that they are all different religions meeting. Here is my guess of their conversation and what they would do if they were real.

“Oh hello, nice meeting you! How are you? What is your name? “said the man in the skin-tight hat.

“Nice ta meet you too!" chuckled the American man whilst tapping his knee.
“I’m just going on a date at ‘San Mario’s’. See you all later!” quietly whispered the other man who wore a long, funny shaped hat.
Then they all went away and met again later that day.

…Gas, Dancer, Green, Swimming, Likely…by Kirsten

I was walking to the swimming pool one morning when I saw a giant explosion. It was a gas tank that had likely just over heated. I walked into the changing rooms to then see a lady in a green frilly costume belly dancing! How strange! Once changed I got in the swimming pool and then found out that it was fun hour at the pool. Great! Just what I needed to finish my day! A gas tank explosion, then a crazy belly dancer performing and now fun hour at the pool. How much worse could my day get?
