My mum said to me, “I'm afraid it’s the last one." “Oh I really liked them can we go and get some chocolate instead?” I said to them. “Ok let’s go then it will be tasty.” Dad replied. 

I get home my sister has been wrapping presents the after I’m ready I open them and there is the stuff I saw at the shop.

Why Lucy needs to go to school by Lili

Dear World Leaders,

Can you please help Lucy to get to school and learn, can’t you put her in a wheelchair because of her disability? Just because she has a bad leg doesn't mean she is unable to study and make friends like us. Many children grow up to be great athletes or pillars of the community, they inspire many people. All of these people had an education and I believe Lucy should be no different. I hope this letter will help you realise that people like Lucy are no different to me or you.

…but I couldn't find the egg… by Lili

Hours later I still searched for it but I couldn't find the egg I tried and tried but I obviously didn't try hard enough. Then the Easter bunny named EB helped me when, 2 minutes later I found it with all the help of EB the Easter bunny!

Then when I turned around he was gone, after a while I took the egg to the table and they announced me the winner!

1 hour later….

I walked into my bedroom and saw EB sat cutely on my chair. I went to go and talk to him and he jumped up and hugged me!

Night Zoo Keeper by Lili

When we went to the gates at the Land of Nilth it was a dark land, without any imagination or creativity and the monsters that live there want to destroy the Night Zoo. But we can't let them! We can't let them take away this magical world of endless possibilities; of Ice Jungles and Floating Mountains. So we both went and tried to defeat the monsters it was quite hard to kill them but in the end we did it we shined the light to make them blind and they fell to the ground and never woke.

The temple upon the hill had a magnificent glow to it, people say it was enchanted! It lit up the forest at night, like it was calling people to come and look. People came to see this spectacular temple from different countries far and wide and all the visitors said they felt like a mysterious magic was in the air. There were stories that a cursed treasure was hidden deep inside the temple guarded by the ancient Aztec king’s guards. They were very fearsome and no one dared to enter for the fear of never coming out.

When me and my family went to a jungle in Australia we went because we love to explore, when we got there we started to walk and obviously explore then we came to a stream and it never stopped all we could see was water it looked fairly deep we just stood there and watched. Then is raised my voice and said, “Hello!” and it echoed it made the water shake so I just said to my Mum, Dad and Sister let’s just get out of here so we walked all the way back to the helicopter.

On my birthday I went to the grand circus with my family, when the show started a pink gorilla came out riding around the ring on a bicycle! He was pulling funny faces and I laughed so hard I had tears rolling down my face, then he jumped off the bike and came into the audience with a plate of cream. He was looking around for a victim, the spotlight was shining all around then it stopped on my dad! The pink gorilla made his way over all the while he was grinning at my dad then with a splat it was on his head!

When I walked into the garden I saw a shed, I strolled near it when I viewed in the window I saw a pair of pink shoes and a shovel the rest was cobwebs. Then something fell over inside so I darted across into the house…

The next day I unhurriedly staggered near the shed, then I saw a silvery key and twisted it, I surprisingly saw a ferret but none of the people who lived here ever told us there was a little lake in the garden.

So I secretly kept the ferret!

When I open my lunch box I can see the custard pot and I reach out for it and dipped my spoon in the perfect creamy custard. I put it in my mouth and the next thing you knew it was all over me! I cough and splutter, the custard tasted like sick! I then realised I forgot to read the label, it said cherry custard and the dinner lady was moaning at me and everyone was staring at me. I was so embarrassed colour crept up my neck and I quickly ran out of the room.

… but when I put the batteries in it …by Lili

In the morning on my 7th birthday I opened a toy guinea pig from my Mum and Dad but when I put the batteries in two days later my guinea pig stopped working and I started to cry I was real up set so I had to take it back to Argos witch I thought was a real shame so I told my mum and dad please may I have something to replace it and so we went and they got me a toy dog and I was so pleased and it still works today.

Quick run!!! Its her, what who, what the hell are you talking about its that girl she tries to kill people ok let’s just get out of here, run she’s chasing us she’s a evil human / spirit I’m grabbing my car and getting out of here no get back see you later I’m leaving you here. I’m going to run for my life and I’ve got away I hope my friend feels sorry for me I just bet he misses me loads I’m just going to see him but I really miss him.

Lili 100 Word Challenge #9

It was a lovely day in Skegness, suddenly it started to chuck it down I stopped looking out the window but then it started to thunder I could see flashes of lightening, I quickly ran down stairs and then one of the trees in my garden fell down and nearly hit one of the cars and then a ripping roar of other trees fell down and all I could see was about eleven on the floor and some were in the middle of the road. Mum said on the news they said a violent storm was coming on its way.
