When I was taking a stroll through the beautiful streets of Skegness, I spotted a massive sheet of ghost-white paper. The paper was covered in Chinese writing (I didn’t understand all of it). Luckily, at the wonderful school that I go to, they teach me how to read Chinese words. The writing seemed to be familiar, it was like the letter I had been sent be my friend, Chow. All of a sudden, the powerful wind swept the sheet out of my ice-cold hands. I was so cross that I chucked my majestic glasses with such force they snapped in half.

When I was taking a stroll through the pitch-black streets (on a casual Friday night) something caught my humongous eye. It was a mossy, abandoned museum in the city’s park, I had never seen it before. I decided to explore. When I arrived at the ancient door, I tried the handle, it was locked. I kicked the door with such force it sprung open. Once inside, I spotted the enormous, silky cobwebs hanging from the unstable ceiling. There was broken stained-glass littering the floor which meant I had to watch my step, I had never seen anything like it.

When I was outside of my beautiful house, which was new, checking out my dull garage filled with boxes. After that, I started to check out the massive boxes, but they were empty. What a surprise! I thought, I wondered why they were so enormous. Suddenly, I heard a massive thud, so I sprinted over - it was a sly fox. Quickly, I shut the garage door but just as it was about to touch the solid ground the fox skidded under; I was annoyed. Minutes passed, I looked in the others but again it was empty there was just dust and cobwebs.

On a frosty winter's day, I was in my delightful house eating my boiling, silky porridge until I heard a thud.... The thud was like an elephant crashing down on the rubbly and uneven pavement. I swiftly ran outside (I was melancholy) suddenly humongous sinking holes started to appear sucking up anything in their paths.

Minutes later, it could suck up a ruby-red fire truck with a 15-metre ladder on top. I had my heart in my mouth, my coins in my pocket started to get pulled to the ground and a minute later I was on it...

It was a frosty night in England, my mum (who was an amazing cook) had just made some sausage and chips. It sent a brilliant lingering smell throughout the dull, jet-black room.  

“Finally!” I shouted, my mouth started to water continuously.  

My mum, taking all the caution in the world, sluggishly walked over to the insecure table and placed it down. The smell started to float up even more, so it rushed through my nostrils. I snatched the beautiful vinegar out of my brother’s hands and took a bite like a lion, but the vinegar was too sharp.

When I was in my humongous, beautiful house, I woke up and pounced out of my pitch- black covers as quick as a flash. I swiftly sprinted over to my ancient light switch and I reached out with my pale arm (which looked like it would never end) and turned my cloudy-white light switch on and it suddenly started flickering. After that, I ran over to my filthy sink and washed my hazelnut-brown fringe. Suddenly I heard a strong bang crashing on my window, so I looked out and people were strongly smashing eggs on my ancient windows.

On a boiling summer day about noon, I was in my endless field - sorting out my beautiful, golden wheat. I spotted a piece of it that wasn’t growing, so I wandered cautiously over, so as to not tread on the wheat with my enormous feet. When I got to the piece of wheat, I curiously started to dig it out of the brittle ground until I hit something hard, it felt like some ancient clay. After I started to dig more a mysterious head popped out followed by a shoulder until it all came out and it was a clay Chinese soldier.

Bicycle Empty Bubbles Fired Pink by Joshua D

On the road where I was riding on my bicycle, was an empty tin of pink paint. Mysteriously I saw some massive pink bubbles flowing out like some water. When I admired them there was a particle beam shining up to the ghost white clouds. After I saw the beam, I curiously wandered over there and I sluggishly picked it up and out fired a humongous flare. The flare was like it was just set off by someone as a trap. It lit up the sky sending an alert as something was happening like an apocalypse.

Joshua - The light blinded him

On an ordinary night a man named Charlie, who was a famous adventurer, was exploring a forest where there had been an alien sighting. When he entered the gloomy forest there was only one sound and that was the faint sound of cracking sticks underneath him. Suddenly there was gargantuan, jet black unidentified shadow hovering over the enormous trees which appeared to be a mysterious spaceship. As soon as Charlie identified the spaceship, he swiftly ran towards it and saw an illuminous beam shining down onto the ground. When he looked up the light blinded him and absorbed Charlie.

It was a frosty night, when a mythical creature was caught on camera sluggishly moving through the gloomy streets of London. The creature was described to look as round as a bauble with a sharp basil green holly leaf on its back. The mysterious figure appeared to be carrying an enormous ruby red present as the stars on him shone brightly against the jet-black sky. On closer inspection, the creature only had one eye which was located on the right side of its ghost white cheeks. All of a sudden, the creature disappeared from camera and was never seen again.

Down the road, lived two elves called Alan and Abbie who were naughty especially at Christmas. They lived with a boy called Benjamin and caused havoc in the miniature bungalow. It was Christmas Eve, which was as cold as an iceberg. Suddenly, there was a crash and Benjamin and his parents came rushing down, little did they know they were about to witness the most incredible thing of their lives. The thing was Santa, who had a stomach like an exercise ball, was stuck in a chair and said, “We seemed to be on the television tonight.”

One day John was riding his bike in the woods, he was in the middle of doing his experiment on how to travel through walls and trees. John was hurtling towards a large tree when he lost control, before he crashed John was grabbed and the bike got stuck in the tree and the experiment failed. It turns out that John was abducted by some deadly African hunters because they planned to take over his business, which was the best scientific business in all the World. They didn’t realise that the experiment failed and it was a waste of time.

Joshua - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty

On a bright summer's day, the yellow sun shone and the pretty flowers gleamed in the sunlight. Adebowale, which means ’return of the crown’, was stranded in a tropical forest in Africa. He had been travelling to Dubai when the plane encountered heavy turbulence and lost control. Adebowale was hunting for food until suddenly he heard a crunch of sticks behind him. When he looked, he saw a colossal jet-black gorilla sluggishly creeping up on him about to strike. Having seen a shelter made of bricks on the way he swiftly started running as quick as a flash towards it.

Joshua - …I wondered what was behind the door…

One freezing afternoon, I went to explore the haunted house down the bottom of a colossal hill. The house was haunted by a spirit from a German soldier who died in 1917 in WW1. When I approached the house, in my head I wondered what was behind the door. When I got to the door, I felt petrified to open it in case the evil spirit was waiting for me. The German soldier had died in Flanders Fields and his spirit returned to the house he grew up in. I hope the spirit is not angry with me for visiting.

When I entered the beautiful car with my cousins it reminded me of a time when I went on a one-hour journey to a place called Leeds. The reason I went to Leeds was because it was a celebration for my birthday at the age of ten years old. The car was a BMW I8 which was wrapped with a silky golden wrap which looked like a beach in Hawaii. In Leeds I went on a colossal snow-boarding slope and we did a huge jump off the slope and went crashing down the slope as quick as a flash.

In an abandoned place, lived three enormous figures. The creature type things were very bland and did not really stand out and nobody knew what they were. The landscape was not stable but the figures were stood upright and looked like they were waiting for something or somebody. No one really took any notice of them until one day I visited and they were not there. The mysterious unidentified creatures had disappeared until I walked around the area again I saw them in the exact same pose. The reason why the creatures were gone was never found out again.
