It
was only a few days ago when my best friend and I had fallen out with each
other, she pushed me I was
so cross that I did it back. After that, I felt so bad I apologized
straight away. Unfortunately, she didn’t want to make up – my Mum thought that
I should say sorry by taking her out for tea but I didn’t think that was a
great idea. For hours and hours, I was sat thinking about what to do when I had
the perfect idea, I invited her to a sleepover because she had always loved
them.

What is this place? by Lilly-Ella
“What is this
place?" Ally said as she curiously walked around the huge room with a
blank expression on her face.
“Maybe it was a
cinema because of the sweet bar,” Janita questioned - looking around the weird
place, “Cinemas always have one of them," she added.
“Perhaps it was
dance studio because of the style of the place?” Oliver said, “Or, maybe it is
where someone lived?”
“Yes!” Ally and
Janita both shouted at exactly the same time.
“That explains
all of the light that are on," Janita said happily.
“It explains the
noises as well,” Ally stated.

…empty. What a surprise!…, Lilly-Ella
It
was Christmas Eve, and two siblings had just fallen out with each other. Why?
You may ask, because they both wanted to listen to the same cd in their own
room. Unfortunately, they only owned one CD player.
The
next day, they had still not made up, besides that they were both sat
downstairs next to the tree opening presents, when Lola began opening her
present from her sister. She realised it was... empty. "What a surprise,"
Lola said miserably. “That was the wrong box,” Lola's sister said as she gave
Lola a big hug. They had made up!

RED LADDER SINKING COINS PAVEMENT by Lilly-Ella
As the fiery red sun was setting and I started to see
the crescent moon, I wanted to get a better view of what was in the fountain...
I jumped in. I could see coins on the mossy floor they looked rusted and old; one-pence
and two-pence coins were all that were there. I started sinking - I
had never learnt how to swim.
“Help!” I screamed no longer seeing the pavement or
ladder that was leading up to the roof of a house.
“Help” I screamed again but no one came.
What was I going to do?

The Lost Bear by Lilly-Ella
“Mum,
I've lost Mr. Tickles, I had him we went to the shop earlier,” cried Diana as
she sadly sat down on her mum's sofa. She loved Mr. Tickles, she had had him
since she was a tiny baby.
“I'm
sure that we will find him,” her Mum said sweetly. “I know let's go and retrace
our steps I'm sure we will find him,” her mum mumbled.
“Look,
that boy has him,” Diana's Mum said, “let's go and ask for it.”
“Actually,
he looks really happy - he can have Mr. Tickles,” Diana sweetly said whilst
smiling at the young boy.

… it was completely out of tune…, Lilly-Ella
Not so long ago,
there was a kind and beautiful girl named Gracie. She loved to play the guitar;
she played it whenever she had a chance to. It was Christmas Day and Gracie
woke up and ran downstairs so that she could open her main gift. “It’s a
brand-new guitar!” she shouted happily as she opened the gift and ran back
upstairs. She grabbed her guitar tuner and tuned it up, but it was not working.
She tried again it was completely out of tune. No matter how much she tuned it,
it never played properly.

Lilly-Ella: FRINGE EGGS BLACK WASHED FLICKERING
In the Victorian
times, there was a young girl who had jet black hair with a fringe. In the evening, all
she had in her house for light was a flickering candle - no one could even see her good looks. The
girl was naughty, the worst thing she had ever done was when she threw some eggs at a window and back then
it could not be washed
off.
One day, in the
middle of town she was pulling a prank - not realizing that everyone was watching,
and people found out about her real, horrible and mean personality.

Statues by Lilly-Ella
On
a day just as normal as any other, in the small, quiet town of Combrough (where
it rained almost every day) there was an exciting Lego convention, where all
children and adults were allowed to join in. People were making Lego ninjas,
Lego dinosaurs, Lego dragons and some children were even making people.
Everything was going amazingly well, it was really very busy! Until suddenly
the Lego people (coloured blue, red and green) started to grow. They started to
chase after people. “Help!” everyone yelled as the huge Lego army edged closer
and closer to them.

… but how could she just disappear…, by Lilly-Ella
Over
100 years ago there used to be a day at school that was called the write really
happens day. A girl named Samantha had just moved from Africa and it was her
first day at her new school. The first lesson she had was English and she had
to write a story, but she did not know that it was write really happens day!
She thought about writing about a normal girl who disappeared. Seconds later
she was gone. But how could she just disappear without even writing it down …
no one ever found out.

Bicycle Empty Bubbles Fired Pink, by Lilly-Ella
I
was riding to the supermarket on my pink bicycle
the other day because I needed to get some bubbles for my sister's birthday party. When I
arrived, the shop was almost empty,
probably because it was only 7.00am. Then, appearing around the corner was
someone who used to be my best friend who I had not seen for over 13 years. We
started to talk, and she told me that she had just been fired from her old job. Why, you ask - she
had no idea! She just got told she was fired for no reason.

Lilly-Ella - The light blinded him
As Toby looked up all he could see was the huge dark sky filled with bright lights beaming down at him. Toby was frozen to the spot - he could not physically move. He wanted to run but he couldn’t. Toby started to worry as the light got lower and lower until it hit the floor. and the light blinded him.
What was it?
Why was it there?
How did it get there?
Toby had so many questions and no answers. Until he realised it was a UFO from space! The first UFO Toby had ever seen.
What was it?

Toby had so many questions and no answers. Until he realised it was a UFO from space! The first UFO Toby had ever seen.

The Picture by Lilly-Ella
Painting is Léon’s
favourite thing to do! I mean he does it all the time but creativity just flows
right out of him, but the other day he had no creativity coming out of him at
all. So, he went asking around, he asked his Mum and she wanted him to paint a bauble
coloured red, his sister wanted an open Christmas present, his best friend
Harry a Christmas holly and his art teacher wanted him to paint an eye. When
Léon had asked everyone, he decided to paint all of them! And his painting was
amazing.

Lilly-Ella - but they were exhausted
On Wednesday morning
just after the tough 10k run Rita, Paul and Lollie were supposed to go to the
town school to entertain the children at their Christmas party (unlike other
schools they have their Christmas party together) but they were exhausted!
Should they
just not go?
That is what
Lollie and Paul wanted to do, but Rita said, “No! We are going because if we
don’t who will entertain the children?”
Paul and Lollie
agreed with this - they knew they couldn’t let children down, especially
because they had promised and they couldn’t just break a promise...

… we seemed to be on the television… by Lilly-Ella
Dear Diary,
Last night was a strange night! A very strange night!
It all started when I sat down at 6.00pm with hot chocolate and cookies in the front room with my Mum and we seemed to be on the television. Why you may ask... We had won a competition that I entered last week without my Mum knowing. The competition we won was one where we won a free holiday to America. Mum was so pleased that I had entered!
I’m writing this now on the plane whilst hoping to have the holiday of a lifetime.

The Roller by Lilly-Ella
“What is that strange thing stuck in the tree
trunk?” I ask myself whilst running towards it. “I’ve never seen one of those
before!”
It is brown with very thick circular things and
around the top near the middle there also seems to be a triangular squishy
thing.
Was I meant to try to sit on it? I had no idea. I
wonder what it is? I wonder what it is called? I wonder if it even has a name?
I had so many questions and no answers!
I know that I would call it the Roller.

Lilly-Ella - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty
I was walking to
the park yesterday, when I came across a gorilla. It wasn’t just any old gorilla it was yellow and I can’t believe I am saying this but it
was actually pretty
(it even twinkled in the sunlight). Obviously, I ran away because when a
gorilla comes out of nowhere, I can’t be good. Whilst I was running, I ran into some hard
bricks. I thought could this day get any worse?
I was wrong!!! But I’m not going to go into that because it would take us into
a whole new story.

Lilly-Ella - …I wondered what was behind the door…
One random day, just the same as any other I was
walking happily to the park when suddenly a beautiful door appeared
it had gold lines with lots of pink
dots. I wondered what was behind the door? Why was it there
and where did it come from? I was about turn the door handle when I
suddenly thought maybe this isn’t a good idea. Maybe something bad will happen.
When I got home, I could not get the door off my mind. So, I went
back the very next day, but the door had disappeared...

Lilly-Ella - Because I said so
“You're so, so annoying!” says Sally to her Mum. “Why can’t I go out with my friend Zia?”
“Because you're too young.” Sally’s mum replies.
“No, I’m not! Why can’t I go out with Zia?”
“Because I said so! Please stop asking Sally my answer will not change.” Sally’s mum also says. “I don’t want anything to happen to you.”
“Ok, well I suppose when I’m old enough I can go out with Zia and besides all of that she can just come around to our house at some point.” Sally says in a sweet voice.
