… I was so cross that … by Kaitlin

My little brother (Oliver) is so annoying that some days I wish I could kill him and today might just be the day. He has been following me around, messing up my room after I had just cleaned it. Worst of all he goes off crying to mum saying I have injured him; he does not know what is coming his way.
It was the second day and he is still making me mad. By the end of the second day I was so cross that I threw him in the fish pond. And he never annoyed me from that day!

The Theatre by Kaitlin

It was in the 1900’s and a new, amazing theatre had just been built. It had everything a theatre needs; brilliant shows, chocolate, sweets\candy. It was so good! They had shows for children and adults all year.
Hopelessly, a gorgeous glass candelilla stared down at the people passing beneath. To the right of the entrance there was an awesome candy bar. It had every candy you could think of; lollypops, chocolate, hokey pokeys (ice cream) and lots more goodies. Detailed stairs led up towards the unbelievable room were the magic happens! Who knows what magic will happen in there next?

…empty. What a surprise!…, Kaitlin

I hate it when mum is ill. She thinks I'm a slave. All she ever tells me to do is make her a coffee or tea and bring the biscuits. Today I had had enough. I was going to prank her.  I went upstairs to see if mum wanted to have a tea or coffee. She wanted a caramel coffee. Quickly, I rushed down the stairs and made it. I grabbed the drink and the biscuit tin and went back up. She took a sip, it had salt in. Rapidly she opened the biscuit tin. It was empty. What a surprise!

RED LADDER SINKING COINS PAVEMENT by Kaitlin

It was an ordinary day and it was very sunny too. I went up town. I wore my favourite red shirt and blue jeans. Off I went. I saw an ice-cream shop so obviously, I had one. While I was walking over, I found a pile of coins on the ground just lying there. I picked them up. I had the best ice-cream ever (well in my opinion). I walked over to chairs. I saw that a girl had dropped hers, it was sinking into the pavement. I went home. Mum wanted me to go up the ladder and “whoops!!!!!!!”

The Lost Bear by Kaitlin

“Help, help!” yelled the lonely bear. “Lucy, oh Lucy, where did you go?”
“Who are you?” questioned an old scruffy teddy. “Are you lost? Do you want to be my friend?” he asked the fluffy, white bear (which was wearing a red bow around its neck.
“I’m Oliver and I have lost my owner. What about you?”
“My name is Riley and my owner dumped me at a park - I miss her so much.”
“I miss my owner as well and I think she will be so sad when she finds out I'm missing, I wonder what she will do?”

… it was completely out of tune…, Kaitlin

Today is the best day ever because I have been invited to a concert in Boston. To play my spectacular guitar, in front of over 1000 people. I have to; find my favourite purple dress, curl my hair, clean my guitar and lots more.
Two hours later, I got there. I was getting ready while the act before me was finishing. It was my turn. Anxiously, I walked on and was about to perform. I was playing for a while and then I noticed it was completely out of tune. I was so embarrassed. What would I do now?

Statues by Kaitlin

In Australia, near by the Sydney Opera House is a large area of sand. Surrounding the sandy area are tall, rough palm trees. Swiftly they sway in the fresh, gentle wind. On top of the bright, golden sand stood around 100 statues. They all had red faces and their bodies were all different colours like; redbluepurple, white, green and yellow. The one at the front was the smallest it looked like it would be a toddler if it was real, it had 2 buns. All of the others were the same size and had only 1 bun.

But how could she just disappear by Kaitlin

In the foggy distance, I could see a dark, gloomy and eerie figure coming towards me. “Who are you?” I yelled to the random person. There was no reply, at all! Slowly I began to head towards the spooky figure. As I got closer to the person, I realised it was a little girl about the same age as me. She started to run away from me, so I ran after her. She ran around a corner, I was right behind her. Then suddenly she disappeared mysteriously into thin air. “But how could she just disappear?” I thought to myself...

Bicycle Empty Bubbles Fired Pink by Kaitlin

Today was a bad day. A very bad day! My car wasn’t working today so I had to ride my bicycle to work. Then I arrived at work to find out that I had to stay at work for an extra 2 hours. I was not impressed! Accidently, I broke the printer. OOPS!!! Amidantel, my boss came storming in and like that I was fired. Sadly, I rode my pink bike home. I decided to have a nice hot bubble bath, so I ran upstairs to find out that the bubbles were empty. I just gave up for the day.

Kaitlin - The light blinded him

“Do you want to go to the school disco with me Brandon?” Nikki asked Brandon hoping he would say yes.
Yes, why not.”
 “Okay I'll see you tonight.”
They both went home. Nikki put on her beautiful sparkly blue dress and her silver high heels that matched, then last but not least she did her make up.
Brandon put on his black blazer, trousers and shoes, and then his white shirt and blue tie.
When they got there, they went in together but as soon as Brandon walked in the light blinded him and he fell to the ground...

Kaitlin - but they were exhausted

Running as fast as they could, Emma and Lulu were being chased by the school’s meanest, biggest bullies, Bob and Bill (who are twins). “Go into the paper shop around the corner,” Emma said anxiously hoping they won’t find them in there. Quickly, they ran into the shop trying to get their breath back. The coast was clear, they needed to go but they were exhausted. Suddenly, the huge, creaking door began to open, and then Bob and Bill stormed into the shop. They began to search to see if the girls were there, and then they found the girls...

The Bike by Kaitlin

In the deepest, darkest and most magical part of the enchanted woods (which homes magical creatures). Everything was normal, all the leaves were a bright dazzling green and the sky-scraping, sizable oak trees had pure irradiant, glutinous sap dripping slowly out. Except for one! In the centre of the forest there is an altitudinous tree which has a rusty, old, broken bike going through the middle of it. The bike was only a little bit wider than the tree (which was extremely bumpy and rough). You could only see the front end of the bike and the back wheel.

Kaitlin - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty

An old lady (who is wearing a pretty bright yellow spotty dress) went to the zoo to see the new gorilla, because it is her favourite animal. But when she got there the gorilla was not there, it must have ESCAPED! Suddenly, she heard a screeching scream coming towards her! What was it she wondered? Then she saw the gorilla charging towards her, then the gorilla smashed through a humongous wall of bricks. She was running as quick as she could to get out of the way of that furious beast. But wherever she went the gorilla just followed her!

Kaitlin - because I said so

It is Sunday afternoon and we were planning on going out but then it started hailing and raining so we had to stay at home and do jobs. So, mum made us all job lists to complete by the end of the day. Mine said; make bed, tidy room, clean desk, wash both cars, hoover house, clean mirrors, wash pots, iron clothes, wash clothes and fold clothes.
“Why do I have to do all of this?” I moaned.
Because I said so!” Mum yelled.
Off I went to do the huge list of jobs.
3 hours later.
Finally, I have done.

…it reminded me of a time when…,by Kaitlin

Yesterday I to the beach at Chapel and I was about to jump out of the boot (in our car) and it reminded me of a time when me and my family went to Whitby, when I was 6 years old. I was playing in the car when dad told me to jump out. So, I went to the boot and went to jump out, but I forgot to jump and I just face-planted the floor. Ever since then whenever I have jumped out of the car it reminded me of that day. HASH TAG this is a true story

Statues by Kaitlin

I think that a historical Roman artist (who is famous sculptor) made this because he admires animals and he believe that animals should be praised and worshiped. After all, they give us food and items to use and they help us. So, when you go there, it’s like a little triangle of worship and you give praise for all the things they have given you. I think he put it in Italyat Capranica right in the middle of the Sutri Amphitheatre (to the north of Rome) because loads of people visit there when they are on holiday.

Teacher Alligator Mauve Climbed Tricky by Kaitlin B

There lived an alligator called Bob and he was a teacher, he worked at The Richmond School. He had a class of 30 and everyone in his class had mauve coats. The next day they took their coats off and sat down quietly, Bob gave them a maths test. They finished it but it was very tricky. After the test it was play time and a girl called Lucy climbed up the steep climbing wall. Suddenly, she fell off it so Bob came and helped her up and took her to first aid and all she did was hurt her leg.
