The professor's dream by Maddie

The bedroom was pitch-black. Mrs. Gugglespot realised that the professor was having a difficult night's sleep. He twisted and turned until the duvet was all his.
Mrs. Gugglespot could hear him mutter in his sleep saying"Crocodile purple, purple crocodile I made …" Hrepeated that over and over again.
Mrs. Gugglespot knew she would have to try and wake him up gently. Quietly, she began to nudge and poke him to see if he would wake but too late! He leapt out of bed and looked at his wife all he saw was a purple crocodile beside him...

The professor and the crocodile by Ella

One day, down in the mad Professor's lab, he had a cunning plan for his next big potion. He travelled for miles searching in the undergrowth for rare plants when he stumbled across a gigantic crocodile with a twisted leg, making it difficult for it to walk. Suddenly, he saw that the crocodile was guarding the special plant needed for his new potion. He had a brain wave. Slowly, he started to move the crocodile. Within a split second, the crocodile snapped at his hand but luckily he had planned for this and had gathered purple leaves to feed it.

The school trip by Scarlet

"Stay in line!" Professor Thomson bellowed at the top of his croaky voice, making him sound like frog. His class of Year 6's were just filing off their school coach, as they had just arrived at the lake. It was a vast, deep lake, murky brown, and coated in frogspawn and debris. The smell was putrid! Pupils were finding it difficult not to be sick within 5 minutes of arriving. Suddenly, everyone heard a splash, when a purple crocodile leapt from the murky depths of the lake. It had a lilac, twisted tail and its eyes shone emerald in the sun.

Professor Smith by Samuel

Professor Smith had a plan to steal his arch nemesis's invention, but it was going to be difficult he had to go outside for the first time in his life. George Smith was born on the 6th of December 1975 but doctors always looked at him in a weird way because he had a disease in his brain where if he got caught in the sunlight he would become twisted in the head and his face would go purple.  So, he went in the night, but on the way, he ran into a herd of crocodiles and he was trapped.

The professor and the crocodile by Lexi

The professor shrieked as the crocodile bit a big peachy chunk out of his body. His face turned purple with pain and blood squirted everywhere. ''Help'' he cried, his voice shrinking backwards, but no help came. Suddenly the crocodile opened his large mouth to reveal a chasm of razor sharp teeth. His eyes lowered to the man's foot and so did his jaw. He snapped at the professor's ankle, grabbed it and twisted rapidly. Another howl of pain echoed through the desolate mangrove. The journey back to safety through treacherous the woods would be difficult, but could he do it?

Tom's Medicine by Daisy

Years ago there was a boy called Tom who dreamed of being a professor when he was an adult. In the big twisted world of science, 15 years later his dream came true he was a professor making medicine and potions. But one day he was asked to make a medicine for children. This was difficult as the colour kept changing so he put some purple dye in the mix. He left the room and BOOM it turned into a purple crocodile!! Everyone had to be evacuated out of the lab. They had to call an animal rescue to take it away.

Professor Crocodile by Tegan

Today I met Professor Crocodile, he was stuck on the river bank and I offered to help him. I noticed when I got closer that he had a huge purple twisted tail. I thought he would be easy to move but I pushed and pulled and found him really difficult to move. I have never met a purple crocodile who could talk before, he was really funny. I think no one would believe me if I told them that crocodiles could talk, or even a purple one. Have you ever met a purple talking crocodile? Well believe me, I have.

The Professor by Clara

The crocodile glared at Professor Purple. How dare he keep him locked in a cage, day and night, night and day? The twisted man looked at the crocodile thrashing about, in his barely big enough cage. It had iron bars all around it and a padlock that was as difficult to open as a door with no handle.
Professor Purple terminated his call to Chester Zoo. “Why won’t anyone take this poor animal?”
Visits to the veterinarian showed Snappy (the crocodile) had a brain tumour. The professor had one last hope: Edinburgh Zoo. “Yes, we’ll take him!” the zoo replied…
