Bridge Sprinkled Pink Daffodil Huge, by Scarlett
Peace at last... Finally, I had found a place where I could be alone to draw. The only sounds are distant buzzing from the bees, whistling of the birds and the sound of the water trickling down the stream and under the huge bridge. In the distance there are miles and miles of fields, sprinkled with daisies and bright yellow daffodils. Its idyllic. I take out my drawing pad and pink pencil case and settle onto the bench to draw the beautiful landscape around me. I stare up at the brilliant blue sky and hope I can create a masterpiece.

SHOUTED CRIMSON MISTY FRANTICALLY GRAVE by Scarlett
I frantically trampled through the mud. I did not know where I was going. He ran and shouted my name. My heart thundered. My hands shook. I could barely see through the misty, midnight air. I suddenly stopped.
The forest must have ended. I saw the apricot sunset ahead. I looked down and a grave stone. It was covered in moss and leaves, and bouquets of crimson flowers. I dug my nails in the carved letters and scraped some moss out so I could read it.

Talking statues by Scarlett
"Please can we go, I heard its really interesting?" asked mum. It was Saturday morning and they had decided to go for out in the city. Mum wanted it to be quite educational so wanted to head north to the cathedral. Dad wanted to see the local football stadium which was in the south of the city. Charlie didn’t want to go for a walk and just wanted to go back home and play on his new Xbox with his friends. As they couldn’t come to a mutual agreement, they settled on watching the world go by, still as statues.

the tiger was blocking our escape by Scarlett
At the zoo, my little sister Zoe begged us to go to the tiger enclosure. I disliked tigers, so I didn't want to go. She cried until I agreed. The door was open, and a zoo keeper was inside. Zoe ran ahead and tapped on the glass. The zoo keeper waved at us, and beckoned us over. "Hello, I need two helpers to help me feed the tiger," He said.
"Yeah!" Shouted Zoe, dragging me into the enclosure and through the door. I cautiously did the job, then we turned around, and the tiger was blocking our escape!

A walk in the forest by Scarlett
Yesterday me and my best friend Millie were walking through Kielder Forest whilst on our camping holiday. Suddenly we saw a tall, black, glossy statue of a monk. We were both scared as we had read that this statue only appeared in December alone. If this wasn't bad enough, it is known to come alive on the 12th of December at 12pm and grab anything in sight. We began to shake with fear and didn't know what to do. Then as I looked at my watch we realised it was 11.59pm and the date was the 12th of December!

Treasured Item by Scarlett
My treasured item is small and round. Hard and soft, and cool to the touch. Quiet as a mouse and slow as a snail. She lives in her house inside my house. Her name is Peggy. Peggy loves to play and feeding time is the highlight of her day. Although she's only a baby now, hopefully she will outlive me and my parents. Peggy was my birthday present, she makes me happy when I'm sad and loves me to play with her and stroke her. In the winter, Peggy likes a long rest, springtime is when she's at her best........

The Pet Show by Scarlett
The day was finally here, The Annual Pet Show! I didn't know who was more excited, me or my pet dog Angel, after all our training and preparation! I got ready to head off to the local park, Angel ran circles around the house in a frenzy. We set off walking with anticipation to what was ahead. Before we knew it, it was our turn to wow the crowds and impress the judges in the fancy dress section. Out we headed with Angel in her lovely fairy outfit, only to find a handsome Labrador and the dog was wearing glasses!
