RED LADDER SINKING COINS PAVEMENT by Fatima

One lonely old man. Sitting on the cold, wet pavement. No food to eat, his appetite was growing. There was nothing he could do. People walked past and threw a few bronze coins, they thought that when they give only a little amount of coins it won’t really help but the person on the floor feels great. Soon he will have enough shiny brown coins. It was like a ladder to a place he had always dreamed of. Many people feel bad, like the group of people that walked past, their hearts were sinking into a red swirl of misery.

I love baking competitions! The fact that I am one of the amazing judges is incredible I can't wait! We will be doing a salad theme yay. There are three other judges that will be joining me - let's start! The timer began, after a while all the bakers finished. One by one, we tasted the lovely looking dishes. I tasted the first one and I loved it, it was just perfect. The next one- it was ok I guess, not as good as the first one though. Now...... the last one...... it was horrible the vinegar was too sharp!

Dear Diary,

At school today, we had music class and it was a complete disaster. I was chosen to be one of the practice judges so, I didn’t have to perform the rehearsal because I wasn’t as good as the people on stage, but I can play a few instruments. As soon as they started playing, it was terrible! It was just completely out of tune. I don’t know what happened because they are really good at playing these instruments but this time it didn’t go well. They will be doing their final rehearsal tomorrow so I wish them luck.

Statues by Fatima

On a hot, beautiful day people noticed something mesmerizing as they walked past - there were many multi-coloured figures stood either having their backs straight or hand pointing forward. People who strolled past were quite confused but didn’t question just carried on walking or stop and took a selfie with these unusual sculptures. Nobody knows why, when or how they got there but as I said no one questioned. Soon after they had to be put away because they needed to do some construction there, even the construction workers had no clue why they were put there. That remains a secret.

“I told you this was a bad idea,” Sarah exclaimed in a cross way “I am sure it will be fine we will get home after we find that treasure,” I sighed as if I have told her a million times before. “This cave gives me the creeps,” Sarah added. The small narrow cave was far from their home - how will they get back? What will they do?

“Sarah watch out!” I exclaimed.

She disappeared.

I ran out of the cave following one straight path. I saw rescue searchers I tried to explain as they questioned “But how could she just disappear?”

Fatima - The light blinded him

“I’m off now mum, see you later!” I exclaimed whilst walking towards the front door to leave and go happily to school. The holidays have just finished and it’s my first day back so I don’t want to give a bad impression towards the teachers on my first day.  
We were in school. The lights turned off. It was dark. Everyone went into the hall, “No need to panic everyone it’s about to turn back on,” one teacher called. The little boy kept on staring at the light waiting till it came on and the light blinded him, it was hilariously funny. 

We seemed to be on the television by Fatima

I love TV, I think we all do. But have you ever been on TV? Well I have, and this is how. I always wanted to be on TV because then I would become famous! That’s why one day I helped this very important person and that very important person was the president of the whole country. Wow! Then in a split second we seemed to be on the television, me and the president. I couldn’t believe it. I asked him, “Does this mean I am famous now?” He just laughed then I got interviewed and everything it was amazing!

The bike by Fatima

I was walking past the forest and found an old rusty bike in a tree. Yes, in a tree and it looks very bizarre, unfamiliar and very unordinary. Nobody just walks past a forest near their house and ends up finding a bike halfway through a tree do they - or is it just me? You know when you think about how it got there in the first place, your brain is just all out of ideas where it could have come from. Like the normal person that I am (not), I just go and walk past it.

Fatima - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty

The beast was running wild into the city. How did it escape? Oh yeah, it is a gorilla, I knew we had to reinforce the walls but no the boss told me not to. It was almost like he wanted the gorilla to escape like last time with the panda, this is just getting suspicious.

“Oh no the gorilla is running after the pretty lady over there with the yellow dress on, go sort it out!” I called to a security man.

“Hey, you fix the wall with the cement and bricks,” I said to one of the builder men.

Fatima - I wondered what was behind the door.

There it was. I can’t believe it. The last place until my journey was completed. Well this journey; who know how many exciting adventures  I will do in the future. This place is where the map has led me to, it’s a ….............. door? I thought it would be a portal or something but no just a boring old door. I wondered what was behind the door. Let’s find out! 

 I have just stepped in to a whole new world. I have never seen anything like this, only I can experience this once in a lifetime opportunity I cannot wait! 

Ladybirds by Fatima

I think the lady bugs are going to a new home so they just stopped and started huddling up in a massive group and also climbing up on each other maybe to keep themselves warm. I think the insects came from a farm area to stay there for all the food now they think they’ve made enough trouble with the farmers so they decided to move to a new place for the winter that has more food and room for them. As they were going on their journey people walked by and took pictures of them and placed a lego figure beside it.

Hands by Fatima

This hand is just stone. Nobody owns it. People have their own hands so they probably don’t want a pair of stone hands. It’s underground because it’s just made like that so it looks cooler and amazing so the people who see it will take pictures and it might get more popular. The realistic pair of stone hands are holding a short type of rope that has a dark shade of grey covering it the two ends are not drooping so it’s very unusual perhaps it’s just part of how it’s made I don’t really know but it is still nice.

...but what colour should it be? Fatima

I am getting a new pencil case but what colour should it be? Some of my friends like blue and red and I like both so I can’t really decide so to solve this problem I won’t choose any of those colours I'll choose....... yellow this is the right colour I am sure my friends won’t mind anyway it’s just a pencil case, I’m sure nobody would care what colour it is. I can't wait to show my friends. I hope my teacher still lets us bring pencil cases or I just wasted 20 minutes over a pencil case.
