One morning, it was Lucy's birthday. She was glaring at the
package that her uncle had sent. She did not want to open it because every year
he sent a silly present. What could it be? She closed her eyes and pulled of
the wrapping paper. Lucy began to slowly open her eyes, what she saw was
incredible. She had opened her eyes to see a cauliflower! Lucy was so scared by what she saw,
she threw it into a deep
pond. The crimson-coloured
vegetable was shivering
as it walked on
the bottom of the pond. Another present for Lucy.

Jemima - 100WC#32
In this picture it seems like the bird is standing looking all tall and strong, whilst the Lego man is trying to be mischievous and sneaky, he is attempting to steal the birds fresh collected food. What will the bird do? Will the bird try and attack the Lego man for the crime he is portraying, or will the bird be careless and stand there staring into space. He could do any one of those things, so the sneaky Lego man had better watch his back. Birds can be pretty aggressive. Either way the Lego man made a wrong choice.

100WC#31 Adapting Fairytales
The challenge this week was due to adapt a fairytale to celebrate the birth of the new royal baby.
Snowflake and the 7 trolls by Jessica
Once upon a time there lived a princess called Snowflake and she lived with 7 Trolls in the side of mountain. While Snowflake was living with the 7 Trolls her mother (The Queen) was on a hunt to kill her. It was very hard for Snowflake to keep running away from her horrible mother. The worst thing about Snowflake’s mother was that her mother was a witch so it was ten times harder to stay alive and survive. Every time Snowflake wanted to get away from the mountain the Trolls had to stay by her side.
Rapunzel by Sam B
Rapunzel was taking a stroll in the woods like she always did on a normal Sunday. She went past a tree and found a tall tower that stood in a massive steep crater.
"Help! Help! I am stuck," shouted a voice from below. Rapunzel quickly sped towards a steep edge.
"Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair," begged a knight at the bottom of the stone castle.
"How do you know my name?" asked Rapunzel. The knight did not say a thing. Rapunzel let down her hair and the lost knight climbed up her long hair up to the top.
Cinderella by Mollie
Once upon a time when I was just a little child, a new royal family member arrived. Her name was Ella. When Ella was just four years old her mother died. After that an evil woman married her father. She had two daughters. They had taken Ella's room and so she had to sleep by the fire in the attic. The evil step mother used Ella as a slave. The two step sisters made fun of the ashes in her hair and called her Cinderella. Later on the family went out for a slow walk. The step-family got lost in the forest and were never seen again and Cinderella lived happily ever after.
Rapunzel by Morgan
Once lived a young girl named Rapunzel she was born with long brown hair a woman named Mother Gothal adopted the child but all she really wanted was her hair because Rapunzel's hair was magical. It healed the hurt and made Mother Gothal look and act younger. Rapunzel found out what was going on so she ran away and chopped all her hair off and turned blonde. A man named Flynn Rider came along and loved Rapunzel the moment he saw her and she loved him they both fell in love and got married Rapunzel's mother never knew what happened!
Hansel and Gretel Sam F
Once upon a time there was a small cottage. Inside there was a Mum, Dad and two little boys. One day we realised that we did not have enough food for our family. So the father brought his two boys into the forest and left them behind. When it started to get dark the boys had nowhere to go. Suddenly they saw a massive gingerbread house. So they ran as fast as they could to the door so they could go inside. As they knocked on the door a kind lady said, "You can stay here as long as you want."
The end.
Once upon a time there lived a very beautiful princess in a shining castle. The princess was so naughty she slurped her drinks; she even jumped on the table at dinner and she broke wind.
One night an old man came to the castle. He wanted warmth from the rain and horrible weather. The princess took one look at the man and walked away slamming the castle door behind her. In one second the old man changed himself into a handsome prince. After that the prince transformed her into a hideous beast and put a powerful spell on the entire castle.
Sleeping Beauty by Madison
One day a baby princess was born and every one came to see her and nearly everyone was invited. Then there were some fairies called Sparkle, Glitter and Shine they all gave the baby Victoria a very nice present. Then an evil human sized fairy named Dark Widow swooped in and said, "Oh why was I not invited!" and she got angry and cursed baby Victoria so that when she was 18 she would fall on a bush of thorns and go to sleep for millions of years and only true love’s kiss could save her....................
Cinderella / Royalella by Jemima
Long ago, there lived a young girl named Royella. Her mum had died years ago, that meant she'd never get a sister. So instead she decided to try and have a baby. Soon, she became pregnant. Everything was going according to plan when all of a sudden her father got married to Claireaphene, a very evil lady. Royalella's father wasn't aware that she was evil, but Royalella was. Royalella's new stepmother told her she wasn't allowed to have a baby. A while after, Royalella met the man of her dreams. They moved to Candy-land together. Royalella soon had her baby, it was named Charlotte.
Red Riding Hood by Rose
My favourite fairy tale story is Little Red Riding Hood because it is fun to read.
Once upon a time Little Red Riding Hood, Millie, went to bring her brother some ham and mustard because he had run out of food. As she was outside of his bedroom she saw a rat who jumped onto her shoulder. The rat was named Cow, he was Millie's brothers pet. When Millie skipped into her brother’s room she put down the food on his bedside table and popped Cow back into his cage. But she hadn't shut the bars properly, so Cow hopped out of the cage and into the wardrobe where he made a den. He did a little poo in Millie's brother’s best clothes. Millie had to sell Cow because he did a poo everywhere.
Red Riding Hood by Grace LB
There was a little girl called Red Riding Hood and she was on her way to see her granny, she walked there every week and her mother always warned her about the big bad bunny, he would steal your goodies and Red was giving granny cupcakes, but she didn't believe her. On her way she thought to herself, “How could a bunny be so scary.” She suddenly heard something behind her and then she only had one cupcake. Then she ran to her granny's house and gave her the cupcake, but all the bunny wanted was her carrot cupcakes.
Goldilocks and the Three Bears by Charlie
There was once three royal family members. Prince William was big bear, Princes Kate was Mummy bear and Prince George was baby bear. One day they walked to the Castle in Kensington Forest where they were served with three bowls of Rice Krispies, they poured over the cold milk and listened as they went’ "SNAP", "CRACKLE" and an "ENORMOUS POP", when out jumped a little princess called Charlotte Elizabeth. The princess soon became part of the Royal family and couldn't wait to see her granny, the "Queen". Princess Charlotte was welcomed by the Queen into the arms of the Royal Family.
Goldilocks and the Three Monkeys by Harvey
Once upon time in the rain forest a girl called Goldilocks saw a treetop house so she climbed up and saw three wooden plates with bananas on them. Daddy’s banana was too ripe, Mummy’s wasn’t ripe enough and baby’s was just right. There were chairs made out of branches, Daddy’s was too rough, Mummy’s too thin and baby’s was just right. Then she saw three hammocks’, Daddy’s was too itchy Mummy’s was too scratchy and Baby’s was just right. The monkeys arrived back to find her sleeping and swung her out of the hammock she awoke and Goldilocks ran away.
Cinderella by Chloe
One day there lived two ugly sisters, a step mother and Ella Cinders. They were rich and loved their life except from Ella. She hated life and always moaned about it, well she didn’t exactly moan, she wrote about it in her wish diary. It had sixteen wishes ready for her birthday (tomorrow). She was excited and was ready to roll, but unfortunately for her she couldn’t have a party because her step mother and two sisters wouldn’t let her. She got angry about this and she stole money off her sisters to buy the beautiful dress.
“ELLA, WHERE’S MY MONEY!!!”…
Gingerbread man by Aron
Once upon a time, lived an old man called Pat. He was lonely because his only daughter moved far away. Pat loved to bake. One day, he used a magical powder he got from his daughter. She said to use it when he feels lonely. He decided to make a big gingerbread man. After putting him in the oven it started to shatter! A massive blasting beam of blinding light came out from the old oven... The gingerbread man was alive! Pat didn't have to be alone anymore, he had a great companion and he called him Gingi.
And they lived happily ever after...
Cinderella by Caitlin
There was a girl called Cinderella who was invited to a ball with her two ugly step sisters. When they arrived the prince was there. Cinderella danced with the prince until the clock struck 12, Cinderella ran out of the palace, leaving her shoe behind. The next morning the prince went to see whose foot it should fit. One of the ugly sisters heard of this and had an old witch cast a spell on her that any shoe she tried would fit. The shoe fit and on the day she married the prince he turned into a penniless pauper.

Jemima - 100WC#30
I went to the circus with my dad yesterday, it was amazing. There were, lions, tigers, dogs and even crocodiles! I think it was cruel to keep animals like that, but it was a great show. My dad bought me some candy floss and my hands and face got really sticky. Anyway, there was a lion that danced, a dog that did tricks with a cornflake, and there was a big group of crocodiles, and they each had a drum that they banged on with their great big noses. It was so exciting. I had a great time watching those animals.

Jemima - X Marks the Spot
Who are you going to vote for, it does not matter. We do not want to know who you are going to vote for, we want to know if you are going to vote. Is there a party leader where you agree with what they stand for, if there is then vote for them, your vote may help make the country better. The general election is very important to the country and there are people that want to vote but can not, so if you get the opportunity take it and make Britain better. X marks the spot. That is what really matters.

Jemima - 100WC#28
The two people/ statues both look very serious. I think that this may be a parent and child conversation. I think that the adult is handing down an important legacy to his family member. Because of this it seems like it was a very important moment in their family history. The bay is a great place to have the statue because in the background there is a big wheel and many more fascinating buildings to observe. Maybe this statue was made long ago. It’s in dark colours so that makes me think that it may have been made long ago.

Jemima …as they turned the corner… 100WC#26
Mark had always been a bit of a dodgy driver, everyone agreed. He did not mind though, he was always open to a little advice, that is if anybody ever had any! He had been involved in three crashes, so he had three cars.
One Thursday, Mark was on his way to work, the roads seemed quiet, it was peaceful. Meanwhile, a car with two women inside, that were speeding, were driving down towards the corner. As they turned the corner Mark slammed on his brakes. "Whoa, that was close!" He exclaimed, quite surprised. He had not crashed! He could not believe his eyes.

PIPE SWAM GREEN CAREFULLY HORSE by Jemima
I always thought that my new horse was a bit strange. I just learned to deal
with it though. I loved him no matter what he was like. I had only bought him a
month ago, I would already do anything for him. By the way his name is Rala.
Did you know that one day, about a month ago, the water from the pipe in the garden, had
made a huge lake in the back garden? Rala carefully swam through the green water. I was amazed and disgusted, both at
the same time. What an animal I have got!

… then when I looked out of the plane window… by Jemima
It was just 3 days until I went to Benidorm, I was so excited. Time flew by, the day of my trip soon came. After our heavy luggage and plane tickets had been checked we got on the plane. I was hoping to see lots of great things out of the plane window. We were flying over France, I was fascinated by the wonderful view, then when I looked out of the plane window I saw the Eiffel Tower. I was amazed at what I saw. Then when we got to Benidorm I saw many more landmarks and great things.

100WC#23 The Old Settee by Jemima
In this picture I see an old,
abandoned sofa. It looks as if it has been placed in a wood or a forest. It
also looks as if it has been in the wood or forest for quite a while. The
settee is covered in dirt and dust, it is also probably torn in places. The old
settee would probably stand out if you looked at the wood or forest from a
small distance. Even though the abandoned settee does not have a huge amount of
decoration or detail, it may have been very valuable and precious to somebody.
100WC#22 …but it said ‘sweet’ on the wrapper… by Jemima
There was once a young girl,
her name was Marie Rose Walker. She lived in a very small village near London.
Her family were very poor, so she was really lucky to get one sweet a month.
One day she was given two pounds to spend. She bought a big sweet, she did not
know what it was called. When she opened it, all she saw was a small rolled up
tea towel. Marie said to her parents, when they found out, "But it said
'sweet' on the wrapper.” Her parents were absolutely furious. Marie never went
to that shop again.

100WC#21 … the silence was deafening…
In the abandoned house the silence was deafening. You couldn’t even hear
a mouse until me and my friend opened the wardrobe and there was a skeleton
living in there. We both screamed and ran for our lives. We ran out of the
front door of the house and we were still screaming all the way home. That
night I couldn’t sleep but just there next to my door was an outline of the
same skeleton we saw in the wardrobe. I blinked twice and then when I opened my
eyes the skeleton was gone. I knew I saw it but I was not believed by anyone.
Jessica
Today in class we had a giant paper airplane fight. It
started when we were seeing how paper planes work. The teacher was tapping at
the board while I could hear some folding behind me. Suddenly, a paper airplane
whooshed past my shoulder. It hit the teacher's head and bounced back. The silence was deafening
as the teacher turned around.
"Who did this!" he yelled. All the children
pointed at the person behind me. It was Liam, the naughtiest boy in my class.
Liam can scare anyone away by just pulling his mighty fist. I turned my head
round.
Sam B
The
silence was deafening, for an arena it was quiet. The audience were as
still as statues and Messi was halfway through a flip but he was stuck in mid-air.
I was the only one moving, or alive for that matter. The roof was also stuck in
mid-air. I walked out of the arena, grabbing handfuls of food. No earth. No
grass. No air. I had to hold my breath but soon gave up. I knew I was away from
earth. The statues could have been dead people and what caused Messi to be in
the air could be the gravity levels. There must be a simple explanation, there
always is mind you. But where was I and how did I get here?
Mollie
The
silence was deafening, on my little sisters birthday. We were supposed
to be singing but no one was because there was a green nosed witch. She had frozen
all my family and friends which made me very sad. The witch said I will curse
your family. Which I knew I didn't want that to happen. So I had to go to the witch’s
castle and see if I could go into the dungeon through the fire and see if I
could get the golden trophy. Which I knew I would! In a way. I did eventually.
Mia
I was walking down the cold muddy path and everywhere was
silent not a sound to be heard. The silence was deafening then a loud screeching noise came
across the woods! "Eek" I shouted as I tried to cover my ears but the
sound made its way through, so I started to run from the sound but it got
louder and louder so I went the other way as the sound disappeared I stopped
and silence was one more. I wondered to
myself what it was suddenly, it popped into my head it was my shoes! So I
stepped lighter on my feet as I did NOT want to experience the sound again. But
I could be wrong...
Morgan
One day I was walking along the woods, the silence was deafening
that I could not hear a bird tweeting. I could smell the apple blossom from far
far away. I was looking around the forest trying to find a beautiful flower to
take to my mum and dad but all I could see was trees. Even though I was in the
middle of the woods there was still silence. It was really weird. The trees
were like a lime green. The flower I wanted was pansy because my mum’s
favourite colour is yellow and my dad’s favourite colour is red.
Eleanor
I was visiting a castle in the highland in Scotland but when
I got there it was empty the
silence was deafening and spooky. The castle was an old ruin and they
were supposed to have a tour I paid £100 for this tour. Wait what's that it’s a
blue light wait this is like the Disney film brave that is in Scotland. Maybe I
should follow it well Merida did not do very well when she followed the wisp so
maybe I shouldn't. Let's just go yes that’s what I'm going to do go home. I'm
going to get my money back.
Madison
I was at school, I hate school, I am always tripping and
falling. I am the clumsiest child in my school, and I am not proud of it. It
was Monday, boring Monday. It was lunchtime, and I was looking for a place to
sit. Eventually I found a place to sit, as I walked over to sit down, I slipped
on a banana peel. Everybody just stared at me, not saying a word. The silence was deafening.
They should have laughed, but the silence was bad enough. I was so embarrassed,
I never wanted to go to school again.
Jemima
A few years ago, a young baby girl was born and her name was
Kara. From the minute Kara was born she had a problem with her ears. She
suffered periods of loss of hearing. A few years later Kara had experienced an
extremely terrifying storm. The ear-splitting sound of the storm caused further
unrepairable damage and it led to Kara becoming deaf. Kara’s life was changed forever
and the massive disability of not being able to hear made Kara feel the silence was deafening.
Kara had to live with this disability the rest of her whole life and she was
never the same….
Sophia
The little girl slowly but steadily entered the old, creaky
house. She pushed the pitch black gate open with a nudge and it fell off its
hinges. She stepped onto the welcome mat that looked like it wasn’t very
greeting. As her feet rested on the old flooring, the silence was deafening and she slowly plodded
down the stairs. Suddenly a loud bang came from the other room and she was
knocked over! She ran out of the house and never set eyes on it again, leaving
her prized possession an old heart charm the colour of the midnight sky.
Grace LB
I was in a car with my Dad, we drove to a park on a sunny
day, then everything turned black so we had to go back home quickly before we
got seen by the zombies, once we got back home we saw that everyone went out
the house. But then I heard that the silence was deafening in my ears but it was only the zombies
outside banging on the door. Then everything came back sunny again, then
everyone came back home. Then Dad and I went to go do some racing on the rugby
pitch with our remote control cars.
Charlie
On Saturday my family was going shopping in town, I didn’t
want to go as shopping was boring, so I asked if they could drop me off at the
library so I could look for another Diary of a Wimpy kid book and then pick me up when they had finished. So that’s
what we did. On the way I could hear birds singing, people chatting, vehicles
beeping and children shouting it’s so noisy. As I entered the library and
closed the door behind, the
silence was deafening what a change by only walking through a door peace
at last.
Harvey
On my holiday to Spain we stayed in a big mansion but what
we didn’t know was it was a spooky one. When we got there I was petrified
because it was scary looking. I nearly ran as fast as I could away. I walked
into my room and it was that quiet the silence was deafening. There were paintings on the wall that
made me feel like they were looking at me and there were cobwebs in the corner
of my room and on the room so I ran as fast as I could to my Mum and Dad.
Rio
Every Saturday, me and my friend Kieran go to the cinema.
Usually we watch funny films for children, but this time it was different. Like
always we chose a kids' movie, however we had no idea, like most of the
children watching, what is about to happen. Through most of the movie it was
hilarious, however right at the end, one of the main characters had a bad
accident. Everyone held their breath with a hope for positive end. The silence was deafening
as if nobody was present at the theatre. Finally, awaited by everyone, the happy
ending came and we all sighed with relief.
Aron
This is it, I am playing in Wimbledon finals and it’s the
championships point. It’s now or never, the crowd goes quiet, the silence was deafening.
I pick up the ball and toss it up in the air. The breeze blows my hair back. I
serve it, and he returns the serve, I don’t think I can get it. I leap and
stretch as far as I can, the ball just touches the end of my racket. The ball
hits on the white line it is in. At first I can’t believe that I have won. I
had dreamt of this since I was 10.
CaitlinThe silence was deafening. But then, a sudden movement, behind the big dark bush… A rustle. A creature? What was it? And what did it want? I didn’t know, but what I did know was that it seemed aggressive… Really aggressive. As I turned away to run something grabbed my shoulder. It was out of breath, breathing hard on my neck. Quick reactions are my strength; I kicked back and made a run for it! Heading straight back for my house I heard a call, “Chloe, Chloe!”… How did it know my name?

Jessica:
The grey
hyena was very
lonely and miserable
because he was eating his sandwich
in the park with his hyena friends when he said, “I am the best hyena in all
the land and also I can climb
the highest mountain in all the world.” That is when all of his friends got
very mad with him and walked off. He hadn't seen his friends for a week until
one of them came up to him and said, “You are a horrible friend,” and then the
hyena walked off without another word. From then on the hyena was very lonely.
Lily:
One day my school and I went out for a school trip. Courtney
said, “So Mr. Ball where are we going?!" After a while of twiddling his
thumbs Freddirick answered with, "Weren't you listening? Mr. Ball is
taking us all to the zoo!" Suddenly everyone in the coach stood up
screaming.
“But it is so miserable and grey outside!" answered
Celia.
"Well I can't wait, until I see the hyena, I heard that
hyenas laugh and can climb!" said Clarissa.
"Well I've come prepared I've got a sandwich!" shouted
Bobbi. “And no climbing hyena is going to eat it ok!!"
Morgan:
One day the witch of
Grey came into the town of Rainbows and Sparkle it is a magical and colourful
place with happy people but the witch HATES the place! The witch was planning
to make the place Miserable but failed after the power of love stopped her. She
has been planning to make the town unhappy ever since and she has a plan; to
dress up like them and act like them, make a sandwich for all of them that
makes them angry and unhappy and take over the world with her Hyena (which was
called Climb strange name) but as normal her plan failed.
Eleanor:
One day I was
walking up a hill. Every day I climb it with my dad. Today I found out that there was a magical
sandwich on top.
Everyone knew about it that made me miserable. I was still going to climb the Grey Mountain. I got to
the top layer and there was a hyena guarding it! This was a weird day. I was just going to go,
but as I turned round I saw people fighting for it, so I got it. I climbed my
way through the hyena and there it was.
Jemima:
After school on
Tuesday, on my way home, I saw a hyena. It was grey
with a little bit of brown on it, it looked really hungry. Not too soon after,
I watched it climb
up a hill, for a while, it was going really fast, until it was nearly at the
top, when it slowed down. When it finally reached the top of the huge hill, it ran
over to a very large sandwich.
The hyena was miserable
to see that it was very mouldy. It must have been up there for a while. The
hyena was very sad.
Kieran:
Five whole years ago
in south America, a grey
Hyena called Josh
had to climb a cliff over 500 feet to get into a club called laugh a lot.
Josh replied “I’ll do it." Sometime later his mum made Josh a sandwich to give him hope
but he just felt miserable
having to climb 500
feet. The day came and Josh, his Mum and Dad and some of the club members arrived
but Josh, he wasn't up to doing the climb so he shouted, "I can't do
it." Consequently everybody laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed
and laughed.
Olivia:
We got up one
morning and we decided to go to the zoo for a family trip and so we all agreed.
We got to the zoo and firstly we saw a hyena it was grey and looked very
miserable so because it was miserable I gave it a sandwich to cheer it up but
instead it climb the tree went crazy and attacked my sister that was very
funny. Then an ambulance turned up to take her to hospital, then the zoo keeper
told me off for feeding the animals. So in the end she had a broken leg.
Harvey:
In the holidays my
family and I went to the zoo, it took a long time to get there and along the
way one of the roads was closed so we had to go another way which added even
more time to our journey. We finally arrived and the weather was not very good,
the sky looked grey
and miserable, we
decided to have our dinner early so I ate my sandwich, while eating dinner the weather improved
and we had a great time, the best bits were seeing the monkeys climb and a hyena nearly jump over the
fence!
Rio:
It was a grey miserable day when I saw
a hyena climb a mountain for
food.
The hyena hoped there was a nice delicious sandwich at the top of the mountain.
The hyena was extremely hungry because all the animals moved south for the
winter so his food source was rationed. The hyena hoped it was a piece of meat
and not jam and cheese because he doesn't like it because he’s not a vegetarian.
When he got to the top of the mountain he didn’t find a sandwich he found the
animals so he was even happier that day.
Aron:
It was another rainy
miserable Saturday.
I thought to myself. “Mmm... I will invite Kieran around." I rang him up
and he agreed!
After my friend came round, my mum took us to the fossil museum! When we got
through the old, grey
entrance we could see... An enormous fossil of a T-Rex! There was also a big
climbing wall behind it. I said, "Let's have a climb. Me and Kieran really enjoyed all the
climbing, however I got very hungry, as hungry as hungry hyena. I suggested to go
to Subway for a tasty sandwich.
We all loved the idea.
Caitlin:
This morning I woke admiring
the picture on my wall. It was of my great granddad he had climbed a mountain,
I wish I could climb
a mountain, but I don’t think it’s for me. So the next day I decide to do
something out of this world. I was going to Africa to see the incredible animals.
I packed some food and water to keep me going. I saw amazing things and animals
I had never seen in my life. I felt something brush against my back, it was a grey hyena! It had taken my sandwich. It bared its teeth,
I was now miserable.

100WC#19 by Jemima,
I was roaming down my street at night, all alone. I could see the bright reflection of the street lamps in the shallow puddles. It was very quiet that night because it was midnight. You are probably wondering why I am going home this late at night. The answer is, I come home late because I am at work. I do an evening shift. You might be thinking that it is a bad idea but it is ideal for me. I love walking along my street at night because it is so peaceful, there is nobody making too much noise.

…what was that I could feel?… by Jemima
It was 2 days until my birthday. My friends, Kieran and Aron said that they were going to get me something special this year. They kept saying to me, “You will love what we've gotten you for your birthday!" I spent the days thinking about what it might be. I thought and thought but I couldn't guess. When the day arrived I was blindfolded so they both led me somewhere, they told me to put my hand on something In front of me. What was that I could feel? When they removed the blindfold I saw a jet for me.

The light was so bright by Jemima
One morning I woke up, ate my breakfast, got dressed and did my teeth. Then, when I had finished I went downstairs and watched some tv. After that I called my friend and we talked about what we were going to do after school had finished. Then, all of a sudden my friend said, "Whoa!" in a surprised voice. I asked her what was the matter and she told me that the light was SO bright through her bedroom window. I decided to take a look out of my window and all that I saw was lots of snow and roads covered in slippery ice.............

As he started they... by Jemima
Sports day was coming up and Adam was determined to win the
80 metres race. There was just one very big problem, he was a really slow runner. He
really wanted to win, so everyday after school he went to the sports ground
and practised.
Finally the day arrived. The 80 metres race was starting and
everyone had their eyes on Adam. As he started they began to laugh. At first he
was coming last. He was so angry he worked up his speed and ran as fast as the
speed of sound right to the finish line and he actually won the race!

…OPENED CELEBRATION STRANGE RED NERVOUS… by Jemima
When Rosie was turning seven her mum booked the Renaissance for her party. On the night music was playing and everyone was having lots of fun. It was a great celebration. They were all dancing on the red dance floor. All of a sudden she heard a strange rumbling sound, she began to feel nervous. The a bit of the dance floor opened up. Everyone ran out of the door as fast as the speed of sound. Rosie's seventh birthday had been ruined, but a least everyone was ok. It all turned out ok, her mum planned another party.
