but it seemed to be going backwards, by Bradley H

My name is Jim and I like to drive cars. Don't ask why but I do. My job is to go around in a car selling mysterious things like magical mirrors or fortune tellers... I woke up last week thinking I don't get paid enough for this job(£6.50 an hour!) "Maybe if I ride a better more classic looking car I may get payed a little more," I thought... So the day after that I went on a really boring four hour drive to the car bank (a car store) in my car but it seemed to be going backwards...

It was exactly 10 minutes until the plane left for America. I was going to visit mum. I stood in the line leading towards the plane. Everyone was minding their own business, having their passports checked and their suitcases weighed. When I boarded, I looked for my seat. It was a window seat and I soon settled. We took off and quickly reached altitude. Suddenly, the plane jolted. I checked to see if the plane was still moving and it sure was, but it seemed to be going backwards! Everyone screamed as the plane screeched back down to the ground...

Today was the day when the daddy flame dragon came back for revenge. I got up out of my bed as usual and went over to the mysterious lake. There was a sign on the side of the lake which said, “Don’t jump in or you will drown!” but the water seemed to be going backwards and I was wondering what on earth was going on. All of a sudden a colossal flame dragon rose from the water and blew flames at whatever it could see, then I said to myself, “Is this the dad of the flame dragon?”

I was sat in my house with my three sisters, we were waiting for our dad who was coming back from work as he walked in he brought us a present. We all opened it together and it was a clock. “... but it seemed to be going backwards,” I said.
Moment later, I was getting my pjs on and the clock was in our room. As we slept we could hear the clock ticking, I picked it up and took it outside of our room and I slept in peace. But when I woke up the next morning it was gone!

So, the day started off like a normal day would until I looked at the clock. It looked normal but it seemed to be going backwards so I thought it was nothing but when I went outside. The whole world was backwards! How did it turn out like this I asked to myself? I went back inside and then turned the clock hand and... everything went back to normal so I went to school and guess what? The clock at school was backwards so I just left it and got on with my work.

As I walk home from school, in the cold winters air, I shiver down my cramped little street. I hug the warmth of my coat as tight as possible – no wonder the ice cream truck wasn’t here today.
Just as I put the key in the door lock, I realize there’s something in the distance. It was a van, a large white van in the middle of the road, but it seemed to be going backwards....! This of course was a bad thing. It’s only a small street! It could crash or hurt somebody!

but it seemed to be going backwards, by Harry

I was getting ready to go on holiday with my amazing family. I was so excited for my holiday because I have never been on a plane before. I wonder what it will be like because I am flying in first class. It is eventually time to leave the house and set off to the airport, unfortunately we missed the flight and I had to catch the next one. I finally got on the plane I thought the plane was meant to go forwards, but it seemed to be going backwards. I will never get to my destination, never ever.

Excitement filled the atmosphere. The 4x100 metres relay was about to begin. Three....two....one... BANG! The smoke from the starter’s gun gradually faded away. Sprinters from all different countries began their short but exhausting race. Suddenly everything came to a halt. The competitors that had been sprinting rapidly just froze. Time was no longer going forwards but it seemed to be going backwards. The stadium sluggishly drifted away from the runners, who looked like statues now. The competitors had an out of body experience where they could see themselves growing younger. They travelled back to happy times of being a child.

..but it seemed to be going backwards.......by Madi

In the distance, was a haunted looking house, that seemed like it was abandoned. I was with my best friends and we crept closer and closer. I got scared and told my friends that we should head home but they refused and kept tip-toeing towards the dark scene of horror. We stumbled closer and opened the dark, dusty gate before walking nervously through the entrance of the weird house. My friends led me into the part that looked like the living room and then I caught sight of a clock which was rotten, but it seemed to be going backwards.......

Yesterday, something strange happened. I was looking up into the sky and I saw an aeroplane but it seemed to be going backwards. I thought this was very strange and something was very wrong. I live right next to an airport so I asked my mum if I could go and she said yes. I ran straight there and told the workers.
A few days later, I was watching the news and they were talking about a plane crash and how one plane was going backwards. I knew that it would be dangerous. Those ignorant workers didn’t listen to me.

“Dad can you fix my clock please?” I said as I was leaving for school.
Dad was good at fixing things.
School was busy all day and we got homework. The last bell rang, I rushed home as I had so much other stuff planned.
I completed my homework and rushed my tea, at last my time.
Before I knew it I had to go to bed, I laid there and remembered my clock. I kept staring as it didn’t seem right, I rubbed my eyes and looked again but it seemed to be going backwards, I was so tired.
