“..but how can something so tiny …” I mumbled to myself,  “cause so much damage?”  
Our entire living room had been destroyed by ants. It had all started a few days ago just before me and my family went on holiday and I was spending some time with friends in the garden. We had come across an ants’ nest when Alex had the great idea to kick it and infuriate the ants inside. That was when the ant war began both sides caused irreparable damage and I’m pretty sure they called their ant friends to destroy Alex’s house as well.

We had only just arrived in Egypt and my teammate was already complaining about the heat; it was only 25°c. We were on an archaeological expedition to look for King Tutankhamen's ancient tomb, however in order to do so we needed to find a place to stay. We had no idea how to speak the foreign language so I was forced to ask for directions since we were hopelessly lost. I gingerly approached an elderly woman that was so suntanned that she looked yellow but she couldn’t understand what I was saying. Suddenly a remarkable thing happened… we had discovered King Tutankhamen's long lost tomb!

I couldn't wait to go on the steel plane; I was going to go to Mexico for three weeks because I hadn't seen my family in ages. I felt a bit tearful just thinking about them. I sat on one of the mauve seats, for some reason the place stank of carrots. I placed my bag under the seat in front of me. The plane ride was eight hours I was so relieved when we finally landed. The landing and take-off are the best parts. It makes your stomach feel like it has turned upside down.

Boom! The thunder outside was getting louder and louder. There was no chance that we would be able to go outside because it was getting bad. I knew that the party would be ruined. Aimee and Courtney would have come here for nothing.We had to compromise by playing a game of Cluedo. By the end of the game I was already getting very scared. As the weather changed, they started telling scary stories trying to creep each other out. It wasn't a very good idea but it was very fun. None of us wanted the party to end.

In the little town of Munich there stood a statue that nobody really noticed except from a small boy and his grandmother. Every night the boy’s grandmother would tell him stories about the pot from when she was but a small child. She explained that the reason the pot has so many legs sticking out is because inside the pot there is rumoured to be mountains of gold. Many greedy people once they heard the news had tried to climb in and steal the gold for themselves little did they know there was a dark side to the pot.

As me and my friends got closer to the doll in the middle woods I felt my heart pounding louder and louder. Neither of us knew where it came from or who it belongs to but what we did know was that it was very creepy. Out of all my friends, I was the first one to actually pick up the doll and get a good look at it. I felt the doll's beautiful silk dress the material felt like the kind of dress the queen would wear, it was so soft and looked expensive. Finally, one of my friends spoke, "I think we should try and find out who this doll belongs to."

The little girl named Sally climbed onto her pink giraffe. They rushed through the beautiful green forest. That is where the dream stopped and all Sally could hear was the faint sound of drilling. That is when she felt someone shake her, she opened her eyes there in front of her was her teacher and she didn't look very happy. "How dare you fall asleep in my class!"shouted the teacher.
"I'm sorry Miss but I didn't get much sleep last night," Sally whispered quietly.

Through rest of the day all Sally could think of was her dream.

So Festival by Cloud

On the weekend the SO festival visited Skegness and there were so many new acts. The very first act I went to was the Flip House. The act included juggling, dancing, balancing on wine bottles and hanging from the ceiling the act was very random. My favourite act that I saw this year was the juggling act that I think is called Eight Songs by Gandini juggling. In that act it had six jugglers and they all did amazing tricks. My second favourite act is The Vee Project that included juggling on a contraption that lifted you and went round.

It was a day like no other I woke up and started going to school and walked into the classroom and sat at my desk between my two best friends Aimee and Lisa. Our first class was Science. Mr Ball walked in and put these strange boxes in front of each of us. He told us all to put our hands in the box and guess what was inside so I put my hand in the box and felt some kind of furry object. Then Mr Ball held his head back and cackled, "Those Are Tarantulas!" And out crawled thousands of furry tarantulas.

"Hello what's your name?" asked the man in the robe with no shoes.

"Oh hello I am called Tyler," replied the man sitting down looking up from his red book for the first time.

"And I am called John," said a man wearing a colourful hat walking towards them.

"Oh no I've got a meeting to get to and my name is Boa and could you please give this package to the lady in the red dress over there?"

“Oh definitely. Don't worry I'll do it straight away!" shouted John, and from that point on the three became best friends.

The bash on the head by Cloud

Last week when I was at school I saw something you might think bizarre but I have now convinced myself I was just imagining things because of me getting hit on the head.
But this was what I thought at the time,
I thought I saw a corpse rising from the ground,
I thought I saw a vampire flying in mid air,
I thought I saw victor Frankenstein with his creation
All thanks to Jerry who was the goal keeper on the other team in football.
But then again.... my head really ached... or either what I saw was real?

The giant lamb has finally been found! By Cloud

 It was a day like no other in Skegness. It was sunny and warm but something went terribly wrong in the local nuclear power-plant and a lamb was transformed in the disaster. A new lamb was born... a MEGA lamb was unleashed. Everyone was on the look out for the lamb for years but no one found or saw it so it was classified as a hoax. Until to this day it decided to show itself in a car park near Morrison's. The people who saw it were astonished. The giant lamb has been found after twenty years!

The night of the little figurines! by Cloud

Kirsten had bought them from a shop named  The little toy shop. It was a shop like no other it was quite small and dark but the prices were great. The man who owned the shop was small  and grumpy and for some reason he hated children, which was strange for a man who owned a toy shop but Kirsten and her mum still bought things from there. Every night Kirsten can hear are noises from underneath her bed...how could something so tiny... make such noise to scare children so much when they saw them they screamed with fear!

Cloud: The freaky science experiment!

This morning I woke up a normal person but after this incident I will never be again. It was Monday morning and a brand new week at school. And my first class was Science, Science is my favourite subject. Today we were going to experiment how to make a Volcano and me and my best friend were partners. But the Teacher had shown us the wrong things to put in our Volcano to make it explode. And it blew up in my face and made me grow hair all over and after a while I turned into a brown dog!

Cloud: Teddy bears of doom!

It was Sunday afternoon and me and my friend Olivia were going to go to the toy shop and look at the bears. It only took us five minutes to walk to the toy shop, it was a big bright blue building called Krusty Bears toy shop. Once we walked in we could see thousands of different aisles. Then we came upon the teddy bear aisle and we saw one bear in particular it had shiny brown hair and brown eyes. When we decided to move on In the corner of my eye I swear it moved it's eyes.

Cloud – The Noise

It was Friday evening and Kaycee and Emily were going to have a sleepover, Kaycee was a year older than Emily, she was ten years old and their mum`s were best friends. Once they arrived at Kaycee’s they both put their onesies on. Until they heard a mysterious sound like a roar... Until they realized it was Kaycee`s older brother Charlie that was making the sound on his Xbox one. Until suddenly ...then, in the middle of the noise... A huge monster leaped out from the wardrobe and this time it wasn`t Kaycee’s older brother!

The terrifying legs in a pot! By Cloud

I was strolling through the park with my two friends Lisa and Charlie. When suddenly we saw a gigantic pot with a creepy face on it. With terrifying eyes and 7 bloody legs sticking out of it. “What is that disgusting creature with illumanous eyes!” I shouted to Charlie.

“ Don't worry Cloud,” said Lisa it is only a statue.

After Charlie and Lisa finally finished examining the statue we decided to walk away and go to a cafe nearby. We all ordered a hot chocolate until i looked out the window and the pot moved it`s eyes aaaaaaah!
