“You’re going to be late for school!” shouted mum stomping her feet up the stairs. I have always been a lazy person, although I probably would get up in a morning if I don’t stay up till midnight! Well I finally got up but when I did my annoying little brother was there. “Do you want to hear my singing?” he asked. Obviously I said no because it was dreadfully boring! It made me go deaf but my mum loved it! I always wondered ‘but how can something so tiny make that much noise’ I hate my little brother! *sigh*

However Yellow Gingerly Discovered Remarkable by Isabelle

Ella is 11 years old. Ella always felt like she was invisible she was actually the most noticeable person in the school. The girl is very clumsy and would gingerly walk down the stairs every time she went for lunch. One day her Mum bought Ella a bright yellow dress to wear for the end of school party however Ella refused because she feared that the other kids would laugh. When Ella arrived, she saw the kids dancing. Ella then discovered something remarkable. The kids stopped and stared in amazement as Ella came through the door. Her dress was so bright it was blinding. 

'Spiderweb' by Isabelle

Nobody knew why it was there, I certainly didn't anyway. It was quite annoying as well because sometimes it blocks your sun light and then you have to walk miles to get it back again. The spider like thing wasn't a threatening thing it just hung there in silence with the littlest of movement. It was made of metal and I know because the newscaster even said, but I think that no one knows where it came from. People are now calling it 'spiderweb' which doesn't really make sense to me. It heads north of the city and never turns...

The start of the summer holidays here I come. I can't believe school has finished already - I mean how quick has that gone?

Anyway the start of the summer holidays didn't go quite as I had planned. I was in the park with my friends when something terrible happened. I was climbing a tree when one of my friends stood on my hand and I fell to the ground. Turns out I broke the same bones in both legs and I thought, 'Well what a start!' I was so gutted. I couldn't dance or ice skate or do anything. WHY!

Looking forward to year 6, by Isabelle

I am kind of looking forward to year 6 but I am a bit nervous too. I am nervous about the 11+ and I’m wondering if I’ll catch up with school work in time. I am determined to get into the Skegness Grammar School because I feel like it will give me more options to what I want to do in the future. I am worried about not passing the 11+ and getting a low score, but I know there’s nothing to worry about if I stay calm. In year 6 I think I will enjoy getting opportunities in school.

The Prison Cell by Isabelle

The cell was cold and dirty; I didn’t like it. I had been put in there for not doing homework which is stupid. I didn’t dare sit anywhere because of the cold and filthy place. The bed was uncomfortable and the floor was too cold to sit on. It didn’t look like I could escape but even if there was a way I still wouldn’t have a plan; Alcatraz is known for its inescapable prison so I guess it was goodbye to sunlight for me. I didn’t like being locked up; I don’t think anyone likes to be locked up.

Finally, I could rest but then it was dream time. I popped up in a big white room with no doors or windows it was just a white room. Suddenly I saw something in the distance I walked closer and closer but when I got there, I found a cupcake that said “EAT ME!” so I did as was told and PUFF! I was in a cupcake shop. There were chocolate cupcakes with shiny red cherries on top and lots more. I imagined what it would be like to have all I could see I would be rich, diet wise!

The most horrible thing on earth. by Isabelle

I was happily playing games one night when the connection broke. ”Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!” The Wifi was out I panicked and cried my eyes out I didn’t know what to do. So I went down stairs to restart it but it wouldn’t work, so I Skyped my friends Zia and Kaycee and told them something horrible has happened to me. “Have you hurt your leg or done something to your finger?” yelled Zia. “Wait has Boo-Boo got hurt!” Kaycee bellowed. “No the Wi-Fi is out!” I shouted. Then all of a sudden it came back on. 

Statues by Isabelle

I was walking along in the park and I came across three gentlemen as statues and I thought why not go explore. One looked like a bishop wearing a hat, skirt and a button up t-shirt. The second one I saw looked like a businessman wearing a jacket, trousers and fancy shoes. The last one I saw was someone who I couldn’t recognise. It was hard to figure out what the last one was anyway it did look like people from the Victorians. It looked like they were having a normal conversation but who knows. I decided to leave.

Spring Week 1 by Isabelle

These little tiny men are climbing on what looks like a very delicious cupcake. I think the little men are holding forks and are trying to eat the cupcake because they are so hungry. The cake is massive to them and quite small to us. The cupcake has lots of icing and marshmallows and a small flake on top with co co powder as well, which looks very tasty to me. The cupcake case is ruby red with bits of icing on the edges from where it has been covered. The men were very lucky to eat that cake.

Lazy day by Isabelle

 Last week I got up to go to school. It was my birthday so everyone in my family came to give me present that they bought me. I went down stairs to go get breakfast after my family gave me presents in bed, but then I felt really really funny inside. CRASH!!!!!! I was down the stairs all curled up in a little ball. All i could remember before that was that my head really ached. My Mum came charging down the stairs to see if I'm okay and she said, "Lets have a lazy day today."

"Okay."

The cold ice cave by Isabelle

 I stood there with no one by my side in the dark cold cave. I made some fire so I could see where I was going but it didn't help. I made my way through the cave still wondering where I am. There was a mysterious corner in the cave where they were a lot of skeletons, so I decided not to go over there. "CREEEAAAKK" I heard something. I looked back to see what it was. "AAAAHHHH" suddenly a skeleton was right behind my shoulder. The cold had got right into my bones when the fire lit again.

 Me and my friend were driving to London to go shopping. I was taking pictures to add to my scrapbook when we came across what looked like a massive sheep. So I told Zia to pull over to go and find out what it was . "This looks very dangerous we could get caught!" Zia said in horror, but I said "We are the only ones on this street what could possibly happen." Regretting I did this I walked up and touched the giant sheep with the tip of my finger and....CRASH we ran back in the car and drove of.

Today was the day when I moved into my new house with my family and we had a lot to unpack. When we finally arrived everyone started to unpack their things. It was nearly Christmas so we got out the Christmas tree to. It was lunch time so I took me, my sister and my mum to our favorite restaurant. All we left behind was my pet hamster Snowflake I called her Snowflake because she really snow and has a lovely white coat of fur. Snowflake made a mess of the house. How could  something so tiny make a mess.

Isabelle: It felt like....

I sat down on my brand new chair and I sat on something rather strange it felt like a puffer fish that has blown up or a hedgehog sleeping. I looked under the pillow but there was nothing there, so I sat down again but something was still there. The next day I rang up the chair company and they said that they will come this afternoon at 4:00 to have a look. They finally came and they checked all of the chair to see what was causing this strange feeling then the man picked up very prickly rose.

One day I was walking to the park when I came across something strange and something that had never seen before. It was 4 teddies in their car which was actually quite fancy. It was a convertible car and it had black wheels with a white circle in the middle and the colour of the car was black. I asked the teddies where they were going and they said the just parked here to go and have lunch but they were actually going bowling first then the fair then back home. They had bought the car yesterday at noon.

The weird cup by Isabelle

I was walking to the cafeteria when I saw a huge cup with a face and what looked like legs poking out with coloured lines coming from them. I was very suspicious about it there was no information about it only a warning sign. The face looked frightened and angry at the same time. I decided to leave it but then I noticed the eyes followed me. I was really scared and confused perhaps it was a religious god or something who knew but what really scared me was the moment one of the legs started to move. Chomp yummy…
