… but how could she just disappear…, by Julia

She stood lifeless, staring at the murky depths below. The filthy water darkened every minute, making it dense. Her body was as still as an icicle, not moving an inch. The wind was growing robust, but she stood there carelessly.
Thick mist appeared, covering everything in its path. The girl took a step forward as branches ripped off trees in a flash. She moved again... Now she was facing the other direction. Swiftly, the vicious wind blew as if being controlled by the girl.
She sank into the muddy waters, until, she was gone. But how could she just disappear?

The Christmas Picture by Julia

As I walked into the magical room, I saw billions of things. A ruby-red, prickly holly hung from the ceiling as a sapphire-blue bauble spun around it majestically. I stood frozen, staring in wonder at each individual decoration.
To my right, was an enchanted box with gorgeous ribbons wrapped around it neatly. Bright yellow lights burst out of it; gleaming dazzlingly. Filling the marvellous room, the pearl white stars covered it with joy.
A very bizarre floating eye caught my attention. Its blue eyelashes made me grin and laugh merrily.
After a split second, each incredible thing disappeared. I was left in the room alone...

Julia - but they were exhausted

It felt as if I was running for eternity. The hostile forest seemed to be getting even more threatening. I did not expect wolves to chase me forever! I ran and ran, as fast as my strained legs could carry me.
The vicious beasts howled and would never stop. Their teeth were as sharp as knives sticking out from their yapping jaws. But they were exhausted. I hoped to hide somewhere where they couldn’t find me.
Then I heard the soft, sniffing sound which filled my heart with horror.
A furry head lurked behind a nearby tree, glaring at me menacingly.

The bike by Julia

Above the lofty, stretched out trees, there was one different tree out of all of them. Mysteriously, it had an old, rusty bike stuck in the middle of it. There must have been an accident lately. All of the trees faced its way like they were making fun of it.
Last night, screams were heard coming from inside of the deadly forest. I told my friends and they told me, but only one of them did not answer. “Hello? Is anybody there?” There was no reply. Someone answered and the phone just stayed silent. Was my friend in that disaster?

Julia - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty

Here I am again, building a wall with lots of bricks. I’m here building it with my best friend, Granny Smith. This is torture! All I wish for in my life is a bright yellow top, not building a wall! Well, at least I am here with my friend, not my foe.
After we finished building the horror, something destroyed the brick wall. It was worse than horror, worse than torture. A, gorilla?!
Right after the incident, Granny Smith told me how fast she was running. All I saw was her trembling on the stones. But, anyway, the gorilla was wearing MY pretty top. How, fascinating???

Julia -…I wondered what was behind the door…

Whilst the wind whistled fiercely, I grabbed my torch, hoping nothing would attack me. I turned around, acting like a coward, but nothing was there. Only my wardrobe. Could the creaking noise be from there? It couldn’t be. I looked out of the window, my torch reflecting off it, and saw trees dancing insanely like mad men in an asylum.
The door had opened a few inches. I fell to the ground, looked at the door and jumped into my bed. Footsteps were heard from outside my door. I listened carefully and looked once more. I wondered what was behind the door. It crawled inside...

Ladybirds by Julia

Whilst I stood motionless, I was surrounded by these fascinating and bizarre creatures. I gazed at them whilst they made an inescapable circle around me. I could feel the tickling of their minute legs crawling, getting ready to pounce on my invincible Lego armour.

My lips trembled and I desperately gasped for air. Clutching my chest, I hoped my heart would stop thumping. It was like these venomous beasts were ferocious tigers and I was their prey.

I was just looking at them trying to be calm on the outside. On the inside I felt a storm about to attack me. My life was turning upside down...

Bath Fighter Danced Orange Clumsily, Julia

When the orange fireball danced in the diamond-blue sky, the exhausted birds flew in any direction. They clumsily glided through the glowing white clouds, bumping into each other like an aggressive fighter trying to win the battle. The soft, damp mist was holding tightly onto their fluffy feathers, trying to give them a luxurious bath.

Without a warning, the dazzling sky turned into a dull scene. A paralyzing sound could be heard coming out of the dreadful underground. It was as if the bloodthirsty gates of hell opened to invite lost souls. Is this how our life is meant to end...?

…it reminded me of a time when…by Julia

Whilst the silver moon rose into the inky black sky, clouds disappeared every second you looked at them. The navy-blue water darkened each and every time the moon went up to the glistening stars. The abandoned hotel stood still, gazing at the long-gone clouds. On the hotel walls, there were old photos. It reminded me of a time when my family came here.

At the top of the hotel, were frozen figures with crimson red sharp teeth, reaching out for a victim. At midnight, monstrous creatures came and celebrated. No one knew what they celebrated. It was like a secret just for them. Some people tried to find out, but no one came back alive...

Statues by Julia

As the blistering sun glistened, the pale white statues stood in the vast space. The stripes on their gowns slithered down their bodies like snakes sneaking up to their prey. Their majestic heads had sharp thorns reaching up to the sapphire blue sky like pointed needles. The mystical statue on the left, with the bull’s head, stared miserably ahead. Its body looked like it was torn asunder in a gruesome battle. Whilst the creatures stood there alone they were secretly guarding the perilous forest behind them. If you went inside the forest you could hear the bloodcurdling wind howling in your ears and amongst rustling trees. The little hills of dead thick grass were scattered everywhere near the statues.
Nobody dared to go near them or touch them. They were a token in memory of a notable farmer whose life was brutally ruined…
