The other night, I got really mad. I got cross. I was so cross that I angrily threw my bedsheets off my bed because my mum had taken away my PS4 Controllers because we were going somewhere, I didn’t want to go to, but I had to anyway. All I did to try and get me back to my own self was find the PS4 Controllers. In my mind it seemed to be the only way. I searched curiously through my mum’s things where all the electronics were hidden and in the end, I found them bringing me back to happiness.

Michael - The light blinded him

On the day when the sun was blinding, a man, who wore a blue and red t-shirt, was strolling down the streets of London when suddenly as he looked around the corner of an enormous building, the light blinded him. He was not expecting this, so it was a bit of a surprise. After that, he went to the hospital to go check on his eyes to see if they were damaged and nothing bad had happened, so he was okay. Once he left the hospital, he knew he was saved and wore sunglasses every single day.

Michael S - Bricks Gorilla Yellow Running Pretty

It was the grand opening of the new zoo coming out in Birmingham. I travelled across Britain just to see this new zoo because they had my most favourite pet, a gorilla! They were my favourite! I know they had big white teeth and they look all pretty so I still like them. I dressed up in yellow as I would draw more attention to gorillas just because they love bananas. Finally, the doors swung open and I sprinted away. I entered the gorilla exhibit and it was surrounded by bricks. I saw them running towards me then suddenly, boom!

Michael - Because I said so

“Are you sure I won’t get caught?” asked David all frightened and nervous.  

I nodded.  

David didn’t want to do this but he had to in order to be rich! We were on a bank heist to steal the crown jewels. It was extremely risky as there were about 15-20 guards patrolling around the area. I had an idea to go down in the gross sewers but it might work. David didn’t want to go down so he questioned, “Why did we have to do this?”  

I replied, “Because I said so!”  

We were just a few steps from stealing the jewels!

Ladybugs by Michael

This happy man was enjoying the sight of the environment when suddenly a swarm of ladybugs attacked him. They came from above without him noticing. The ladybugs swooped down and grabbed hold of his legs as he was about to take a photo. His name was Harrison, he is a photographer, who takes pictures of landmarks, famous buildings such as... (The tower of London and others), beautiful areas and many more things. The ladybugs are taking over Harrison as he tries to wiggle out of the trap but it’s no use. All he can do now, is shout for help.

It was finally the day when I got to see the brand-new Aquarium just down the road. I was going with 3 friends; 2 boys 1 girl. When we arrived, we found a large tank with loads of fish and stingrays. Suddenly, a large shark about the size of sofa passed by and frightened me. It took me back a long way because it reminded me of a time when I was going to Manila, Philippines on a boat and I encountered a tiger shark. It was one of the scariest things that happened to me as sharks were my worst fear.

Today is the last day of the first week of year 6! I have had so much fun in the first week. We used TTRockstars which was amazing! When I first got my pencil case I was thinking... but what colour should it be? I am used to using a notebook since I use them everyday including my home days. One thing I was confused about, was when I first saw the set-up for the chairs and where we sit. Finally, we figured it out and it went kind of well. Shortly after we were sitting and ready for some learning.
