… but how could she just disappear…, by Elizabeth

It was the end of the day at school.so I started to walk home. But suddenly I saw my friend, so I ran to her. We then decided to go to my house. But out of nowhere she disappeared. But how could she disappear? I was very muddled. 

Finally, after thinking a lot I got home. I walked in and there she was sat at my table in the kitchen. I asked a lot of questions like what happened? She did not know what happened she just closed her eyes and she was at the table.

Dear Diary,

Today, I decided that I was going to go for a walk through the woods. I set off to the woods. I got to the middle of the woods and it started to get cold but I wanted to walk a little bit more. Suddenly, out of nowhere there was a tiny little bike in a tree and I was very confused about how it got there? Who put it there? Why is it small? I was thinking that it was a toy but I did not feel safe touching it so I turned around and went back home.

Statues by Elizabeth

Lucie took her dog for a walk through a field last week. She was 14 years old so she was going on her own. She had been walking for a while but then there was a statue in the middle of the field and she did not know what to do. After a while she checked it out but there did not seem to be anything weird about it except it was a statue in a field. She thought that somebody just left it there so she just walked off and she still wonders about it to this day.

Teacher Alligator Mauve Climbed Tricky by Elizabeth M

Today was my first day of going to school. I was so excited to go and meet new friends and also to meet my teacher. We did a fact sheet on our first day to show our teacher about ourselves and I wrote as much as I could about my favourite things and explained that my favourite animal is an alligator and my favourite colour is mauve. I was worried that the work might be to tricky on my first day but that morning a boy climbed over a dangerous fence which took my mind off how hard the work was.

A hundred years ago a giant fell out of the sky but no one knew why. He landed underground and got stuck. People have always wondered where he was. Yesterday he tried to get out. After hours of trying to get out he started to make progress. He started to see the sunlight, he knew he was getting somewhere. The giant then got one hand out and then his other hand out and was able to grab a massive rope. As soon as he grabbed the rope the giant and the rope instantly turned to stone for ever.

After school, Ben was walking home and he was with his five friends. He was near home and four friends had gone a different way so he only had one of his friends with him. He kept walking and walking. He was the only one left and then a tall adult came and asked Ben if he would come to his house? Ben thought, 'Why would I do that?' Ben knew that would not be safe so he ran off and ran till he got home and when he got home he felt a lot safer. 

The Magic Door by Elizabeth M

"Can you take the dog for a walk?" asked mum. So, I grabbed his lead and started to set off for the woods. When we got to the woods I let him off his lead and he ran off. "Tommy, Tommy!" I shouted. I looked for 10 minutes and then .............. I found this random door - I don’t know who put it there, but I went in and there he was. I found him sat there but he was talking! I took him back through the door and he was not talking - he only talks in the magic room.

Summer special by Elizabeth M

At 6.55am I woke up and started to get ready to go. I was going on a new boat and we were going on a crystal-clear sea. When we got to the boat there were not many people. We jumped on the boat and set off. So, as I looked over the edge, I saw dolphins swimming under and over the boat. In the sea you could see starfish and a couple of stones on the soft sand. Then we turned back and you could see the amazing sunset. Then finally we got back and went home.
