I looked outside at the wet street.
"Why doesn't it ever snow in Winter?" I thought.
The street was dark and gloomy. The street lights shined brightly on the rocky
concrete.
"You'll never get your wishes if you stare out the
window," my mum said. I sighed at the window.
"Maybe if I do something good," I thought. I got
out a sheet of paper and did my homework. I rushed back to the window again.
Small snowflakes started to fall. I knew it wasn't enough. I wondered what I
was going to do next. It was all a giant mystery.
