Today was a special day for all canines, the annual event
where dogs of the neighbourhood dress up in human things to show off. One dog
was wearing shoes and another was wearing a shiny back top hat. Sooner or
later, every dog on the whole street was there at their secret location. There
was no time to lose. They started the event by having a race. The referee was a
giant, panting St Bernard with a small brown whistle around his neck and the
dog was wearing glasses to see the finish line from across the other end of the
field.
