Out in the wood the stone figure of a Demon still remains.
Children tell tales when they hear the word Demon. One of the rumours had
spread around the school in just one day. The rumour had it, he used to be a
man who had stolen two sheep to feed his starving family, so the Lord of the
land made him a Demon and turned him to stone. Many children are scared, and
they should be as the curse was set for one thousand years, but no one knows
when it was done and when it will undo and he will come back to life and seek
his revenge....

ReplyDeleteI was very impressed with your 110-word entry based on the figure in the photo. It seems you understood the suggestions in "Things to think about" accompanying the prompt.
The figure,not just a statue, became a cursed demon who one day will seek revenge. The threat is for the future when the curse ends. The problem is no one knows when that might be.
