One
night, I was invited to star on a game-show... I had no idea what it was, but I
accepted it anyway.
When
I arrived, there seemed to be a large building there – covered in lights – it
looked pretty new, and extremely loud! (Which meant that there must have been a
lot of people inside.)
When
I stepped inside, I noticed a large amount of cameras rush towards me! It was
like I was a celebrity or something... I look around and there were people
standing around desks like me, but then I noticed... we seemed to be on the television.
How exciting for you Roxanne, firstly to be invited and then to be on TV!
ReplyDeleteAs I read, I felt a wee bit uncomfortable about your use of the word 'amount' for the cameras. We use AMOUNT with something that can't be counted, eg ... There was a large amount of dirt in the garden. In this case, you would have you noticed a large NUMBER of cameras. Perhaps you can remember the difference in the future?
