One Christmas morning by George

One Christmas morning, I woke up and looked out of the window. I could see crispy snow covering the holly. I shouted as loud as I could, “Merry Christmas!” I swiftly walked down the stairs trying not to trip. Out the corner of my eye, I saw a red box with blue ribbons vibrating. It was surrounded by ultra-marine, shiny baubles. I curiously approached it. By this time, my family were with me. My mum lifted it up. An enormous anaconda slithered around the house, with its tongue (which looks like a zip) hanging out. Suddenly, the animal disappeared.

  1. Hi George,
Great story! You really captured the excitement of Christmas morning. The twist at the end caught me off guard. Keep up the good work.
