"It's Flying Fearless!" cried a giant crowd, huddled together. Pushing through the Earth, he appeared in a heroic pose while he was drowned in a sea of applause. He had defeated the evil monsters in the centre of the Earth a moment ago. Fearless was being cheered at from all directions and everybody was talking about it. A bit later, the mayor turned up to give the hero a trophy. Everything seemed normal until everyone heard some faint manic laughter come from beneath their feet. It got louder and louder but no-one heard it again until a slimy tentacle appeared, breaking through the ground...Saturday 1 March 2014

Wow! What brilliant writing! I loved this! Your spelling and punctuation are perfect and I loved the use of words - especially the phrase 'he appeared in a heroic pose while he was drowned in a sea of applause'. Fantastic! Such mature writing. You get a gold star from me.
